A plurality of finger receptacles is disposed on the main body. Each finger receptacle of the plurality of finger receptacles has a proximal end disposed adjacent to the main body and a distal end disposed opposite the proximal end. The plurality of finger receptacles includes a thumb receptacle, a first finger receptacle, and a second finger receptacle. Each of the distal end of the thumb receptacle, the distal end of the first finger receptacle, and the distal end of the second finger receptacle are open. A sensor is disposed on the glove and is configured to monitor a release of an object to be thrown.
System for sensor-based objective determination
The present disclosure is directed to a system for sensor-based objective determination. An example apparatus includes memory, instructions, and processor circuitry to execute the instructions to at least compare time-synchronization data between a first signal and a second signal, the first and second signals received in response to a detected contact between a first participant and a second participant in an event, wherein the first signal is received from a first sensor operably coupled to the first participant, the first sensor to measure at least one first physical parameter of the first participant while the first participant is engaged in the event, and wherein the second signal is received from a second sensor operably coupled to the second participant, the second sensor to measure at least one second physical parameter of the second participant while the second participant is engaged in the event, and determine, based on (a) the time-synchronization data, (b) the at least one first physical parameter, and (c) the at least one second physical parameter, whether the detected contact between the first participant and the second participant exceeds one or more thresholds corresponding to a rules-based infraction associated with the event.
Exercise machine monitoring system for monitoring one or more exercise machines
The disclosure relates generally to devices, systems and methods for measuring, transmitting, recording and displaying information relating to physical exercise and, more particularly, to a monitoring system for monitoring exercise machines comprising a lifting mechanism for selectively engaging one or more of the weights. A first aspect of the disclosure relates to an exercise machine monitoring system for monitoring exercise machines, where the exercise machines, comprise a plurality of stacked weights, the monitoring system comprises, for each of the exercise machines a repetition detector and an exercise machine identifier. The monitoring system further comprises an observer and a user device.
Apparatus, systems, and methods for training a sports player
A training apparatus is disclosed that comprises an obstacle member defining a pass-under area for a sports player to pass a sport-projectile through when in use. The training apparatus comprises a first sensor that is configured to detect the sport-projectile passing through the pass-under area, and a controller that is configured to determine a pass-through direction of the sport-projectile that passes through the pass-under area based on data received from the first sensor. The training apparatus also comprises a lighting fixture indicating an instructed pass-through direction for the sports player to pass the sport-projectile through the pass-under area. A system for training a sports player is described that comprises a plurality of training apparatuses that are remotely configurable to define a training drill for a sports player and to collect training data from execution of the training drill. A method for training a sports player is also disclosed.
GAME PRACTICING APPARATUS AND SYSTEM
A game practicing system for practicing a game involving propelling a playing piece into a goal of a goal post, by a player, includes one or more game practicing apparatus, and a user interactive device. The game practicing apparatus includes a target member having a target face, a target indicative lighting, and a vibration sensor. The target indicative lighting is configured to be illuminated to indicate the player to propel the playing piece on the target face. The vibration sensor to detect if the playing piece hits the target face. The user interactive device is wirelessly coupled to the practicing apparatus to: illuminate the target indicative lighting of game practicing apparatus to indicate the player to propel the playing piece on the target face; and detect if the playing piece hits the target face of the illuminated target indicative lighting.
PATIENT BED HAVING EXERCISE THERAPY APPARATUS
A patient support apparatus may include a frame. A control module may be positioned on the frame. A graphical user interface may be in communication with the control module. An exercise apparatus may be coupled to the frame and may be in communication with the control module.
Racking and unracking exercise machine
An indication is received from a user to rack or unrack a digital weight. A motor is signaled to apply or remove tension to a cable couple to the motor based at least in part on the indication. The actuator is connected to the cable and is physically arranged to deliver a force to the user. The motor selectively tensions a cable in accordance with an exercise program.
Lockout feature for a control device
An article of footwear can include provisions for improving the operation and use of various systems associated with the article. A control device included in the article can be configured to allow manual control of a system by a user. A lockout feature that can disable manual control may be included. During periods of competitive activity, the manual controls may be disabled to allow a user wearing the article to engage in different activities without inadvertent activation of a system. In some cases, the control device and lookout feature can be used in conjunction with a motorized tensioning system.
COMPUTER-IMPLEMENTED QUESTIONNAIRE FOR ORTHOPEDIC TREATMENT
A treatment apparatus includes a machine configured to be manipulated by a patient to perform a regimen for rehabilitation and one or more internal sensors configured to generate data indicating performance of the regimen by the patient. The machine is configured to receive at least one of a first input from a clinician interface and a second input from a patient interface. The first input corresponds to a prompt, presented on the clinician interface, to modify the regimen based on the data indicating performance of the regimen and the second input corresponds to at least one response to a plurality of questions, presented on the patient interface, pertaining to a current or past physical condition of the patient. The machine is further configured, responsive to the at least one of the first input and the second input, to selectively stop or prevent operation of the machine by the patient.
Basketball training system
A basketball training system includes a server computer and a basketball training machine. The server computer executes a workout module that manages operation of a graphical user interface that presents a graphical representation of a portion of a basketball court and receives user inputs that define a workout program that includes selected ball delivery locations relative to the visual representation. The basketball training machine receives the workout program and delivers basketballs to the selected ball delivery locations.
