EXERCISE ASSEMBLY FOR PERFORMING DIFFERENT ROWING ROUTINES
An exercise assembly structured to perform different rowing routines characterized different rowing motions. A resistance device is movable within a chamber and is cooperatively structured therewith to resist such movement. A drive assembly includes two drive sections each independently connected in driving relation to said resistance device. A connector structure includes two connector members each attached to a handle and connected in driving relation to a different one of said drive sections. The handle is selectively movable through the plurality of different rowing motions, at least one of which results in the two drive sections concurrently driving the resistance member and being concurrently driven by the two connector members. At least one other rowing motion of the handle is defined by each drive section alternately driving the resistance member and being alternately driven by interconnected ones of said connector members.
Systems and methods for rehabilitation of limb motion
Systems and methods for rehabilitation of limb motion are described herein. An example system can include a thermal imaging device for imaging a subject or a plurality of sensors for sensing force or pressure exerted by a portion of the subject's body. The system can also include a processor and a memory operably coupled to the processor. The processor can be configured to receive force or pressure data measured by the sensors or image data captured by the thermal imaging device, and calculate a quantitative measure of the subject's limb motion based on the force or pressure data or the image data.
Multi-node motion measurement and analysis system
A multi-node motion measurement and analysis system comprises at least one motion measurement module and a receiver unit. The motion measurement module is bound to a hand-held sports appliance through an adjustable fixture or being bound to a human body. A binding position on the human body is rearrangeable based on different measurement requirements. The motion measurement module comprises a sensor module configured to measure information of acceleration, angular velocity and magnetic force, a first microprocessor module connected to the sensor module and configured to generate information of orientation, and a first RF module configured to receive the information of acceleration, angular velocity, magnetic force and orientation and transmit the received information to the receiver unit. The receiver unit generates motion information according to the information of acceleration, angular velocity, magnetic force and orientation, and calibrates the motion measurement module bound to different positions on the human body.
Trick board training apparatus
A trick board training apparatus for training a trick board rider has an apparatus base and upright members connected to the apparatus base in a spaced-apart relationship defining a training zone therebetween. The trick board training apparatus also has a trick board suspension member for suspending a trick board within the training zone. The trick board suspension member has a first rotation mechanism for rotating the trick board about a first axis of rotation and a second rotation mechanism for rotating the trick board about a second axis of rotation, wherein the second axis of rotation is substantially perpendicular to the first axis of rotation when the first axis of rotation is substantially parallel to the ground. In the trick board training apparatus of the present invention, the trick board can be rotated about at least one of the first and second axes of rotation while remaining suspended.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR MONITORING AND FEED-BACKING ON EXECUTION OF PHYSICAL EXERCISE ROUTINES
A system and method for monitoring performance of a physical exercise routine. The system comprises a plurality of motion and position sensors configured to generate sensory information including at least a rate of movements of a user performing the physical exercise routine; a database containing routine information representing at least an optimal execution of the physical exercise routine; a training module configured to: compare the generated sensory information to the routine information to detect at least dissimilarities respective thereof, wherein the dissimilarities indicate if the pace of performing the physical exercise routine is incorrect; provide feedback to the user with at least instructions related to correcting the pace of performing the physical exercise routine; and a display for displaying the feedback.
