Repetition Counting Device And Method Of Use
A repetition counting device for counting repetitions of an exercise motion includes a housing to which a plate is hingedly attached proximate to the housing's top. The plate is selectively hingable from a stowed configuration, wherein the plate is substantially parallel to and in abutment with a back of the housing, and a deployed configuration, wherein the plate extends angularly from the housing and the repetition counting device is positionable on a substantially horizontal surface. A sensor that detects motion is attached to the housing. A counter, which is attached to and positioned in the housing, is operationally engaged to the sensor. The counter thus is enabled to maintain a count of motion events detected by the sensor. A notification module, which is attached to the housing and which is operationally engaged to the counter, notifies a user when the count of motion events reaches a preset value.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR TRACKING HEALTH DATA AND HUMAN MOTION
A computer-implemented method executed using a first computer includes receiving motion data from a set of one or more sensors, initializing one or more motion variables corresponding to a particular motion, analyzing the first motion data to identify one or more instances of the particular motion and to determine one or more motion values corresponding to the one or more motion variables, and generating and transmitting display instructions which, when rendered using a second computer, cause the second computer to display at least one of the one or more motion values. The one or more motion variables include one or more of repetition count, speed, power, and form.
Mirror therapy device
A portable mirror therapy device comprises a stiff divider panel attached to a base unit which supports the divider panel in an upright position to define two adjacent limb receiving spaces at opposite sides of the divider panel. A mirror is mounted on one face of the divider panel. A clamp mounted at a lower end of the divider panel cooperates with an underside of the base unit for securing the base unit on a support such as a table or worktop. An exercise apparatus is mounted on the device and includes a limb engaging member, which in this case comprises a handle at a mirror side of the divider panel. The exercise apparatus is a resistance load training system and comprises a load cord extending from the handle to an associated resistance element mounted within a housing on an opposite side of the divider panel to the mirror.
Bicycle simulator
A bicycle simulator includes: a base portion; a frame support portion connected to the base portion to be movable in a direction and configured to support a frame of a bicycle docked, the frame connecting a front wheel with a rear wheel of the bicycle; a first sensor portion configured to obtain sight information of a rider riding on the bicycle; a processor configured to generate a virtual image that is changed according to the sight information of the rider obtained by the first sensor portion; and a display displaying the virtual image.
Fitness structure
A fitness structure includes a bar having a first end portion and a second end portion, a pair of bar support portions provided at each side of the bar and having a plurality of bar support members to place the bar at a plurality of heights, a first load portion and a second load portion spaced apart from the bar to a certain degree and facing each other, a first cable coupled between the first end portion of the bar and the first load portion, a second cable coupled between the second end portion of the bar and the second load portion. Heights of the first load portion and the second load portion vary depending on a height of one of the plurality of bar support members at which the bar is detachably placed.
Golf swing analysis from pre-strike sound
A system, device, and methods include or utilize a microphone, a processor, and a user interface. The microphone senses sound and in response outputs a sound signal indicative of the sound. The processor is coupled to the microphone to receive the sound signal, configured to analyze the sound signal to identify in the sound signal an impact of a golf club with a golf ball during a swing of the golf club and determine a characteristic of the swing of the golf club based on a portion of the sound signal corresponding to sound sensed, at least in part, before the impact. The user interface is coupled to the processor and configured to display information related to the characteristic of the swing as determined by the processor.
MOBILE TERMINAL-BASED LIFE COACHING METHOD, MOBILE TERMINAL, AND COMPUTER-READABLE RECORDING MEDIUM, ONTO WHICH METHOD IS RECORDED
Provided are a mobile device-based life coaching method, a mobile device, and a computer-readable recording medium having recorded the method thereon. The mobile device-based life coaching method includes (a) receiving user type information using a user type information input program, (b) extracting standard guideline information corresponding to the user type information using a standard guideline information extraction program, (c) receiving sensed information from one or more sensing units using a sensing program, and (d) extracting condition and situation information of a user from the sensed information and outputting life coaching information corresponding to the standard guideline information based on the extracted condition and situation information at an appropriate time and place in an appropriate way using a life coaching program.
Exercise Device
The invention relates to a device (100) for performing exercises, comprising a housing (105), a deviation sensor (140) for detecting a deviation of said housing (105) from an equilibrium, and a control unit (110) coupled to said deviation sensor (140) arranged to count deviations from the equilibrium.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR IMPROVING BOWLING SHOT PERFORMANCE
A system and method for improving bowling shot performance based on bowling shot metrics calculated from the analysis of bowling shot sensor data from the user are disclosed. The system comprises a motion sensor/computer device integrated with a bowling glove, a microcomputer system, wireless data communications coupled to methods for data capture from the sensorized glove, and a mobile electronic device for accessing and displaying a bowler's current and historical performance data using the Internet. The performance metrics include ball revolutions rate at release, ball speed, force, backswing duration, front swing duration and shot tempo. Comparing the current and historical performance data allows the user to adjust his or her bowling swing accordingly.
Human Musculoskeletal Support and Training System Methods and Devices
A Trunk Support Trainer (TruST) is a dynamic device that trains subjects to improve strength and coordination of the upper body, while seated, and facilitates the trunk to safely move beyond the region of stability. In embodiments, the device creates an assist-as-needed force field to support postures beyond stable sitting positions.
