SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DETECTING AND ANALYZING PLURALITY OF PLAY ITEM
20180264319 · 2018-09-20 ·

The present invention relates to a method and a system for detecting and analyzing plurality of play items pertaining to baseball game i.e. baseball and baseball bat. The system includes sensors integrated to baseball and baseball bat, personal digital assistant, communication network, first lift band and second lift band. The baseball sensors sense the parameters which measures the performance of pitcher, while the baseball bat sensors sense the parameters which measures the performance of a batsman. The sensed data from baseball and baseball bat is transmitted to first and second lift band respectively, wherein the lift bands records the data and further transmit it to personal digital assistance device. The personal digital assistance device analyses the received data and display it on its display unit. The analyzed data is further transmitted to external computing device for better view of communication network formed between play items sensors, plurality of lift bands and personal digital assistance device.

Adjustable Multi-Position Stabilizing and Strengthening Apparatus

A multi-position stabilizing and strengthening apparatus for use in exercising different target joints is provided. The apparatus includes: a height-adjustable base and a first assembly including a track mounted to a portion of the base defining a movement pattern. The apparatus also includes a second assembly slidably mounted to the track to permit motion of the second assembly relative to the first assembly according to the movement pattern along the track and a third assembly including a tray sized to receive a portion of a limb and/or joint of a patient. The third assembly is rotatably mounted to the second assembly to permit relative in-plane rotational motion of the third assembly relative to the second assembly. The apparatus also includes a brace assembly fixedly mounted to the tray to receive portions of the patient's joint and/or limb, thereby securing the patient's joint and/or limb to the third assembly.

TREMOR STABILISATION APPARATUS AND METHODS

The present invention relates to improvements in or relating to tremor stabilisation apparatus and methods, in particular to gyroscopic devices for use in controlling tremors of parts of the body, both physiological and pathological, especially the hands. We describe an apparatus for reducing effects of tremors on the human body. The apparatus comprises a wearable element and at least one gyroscopic device mounted or mountable to the wearable element, the gyroscopic device comprising a gyroscope and a gyroscope housing. The apparatus is characterised in that the at least one gyroscopic device is mounted within the housing by means of a mount which allows the gyroscope to precess with respect to the housing. In one embodiment, the mount comprises a hinge to which the gyroscope is mounted and a hinge plate or hinge mount to which the hinge is mounted for rotation with respect to the gyroscope housing. Preferably the hinge plate or hinge mount comprises a turntable mounted to the gyroscope housing. Preferably, the or each gyroscopic device further comprises a control arrangement to control the precession of the gyroscope.

Methods and apparatus are disclosed for detecting and measuring performance characteristics and metrics of participants and vehicles. These performance characteristics and metrics include, but not are limited to, airtime, g-force, spin, rotation, drop distance, acceleration, and video and still images. These vehicles include, but are not limited to a snowboard, ski, skateboard, wakeboard, motorcycle, bicycle, ice skates and rollerblades. In one implementation, a camera provides near real-time images and video footage of a participant's actions on a vehicle which can be correlated with performance metrics. The camera may be located on the participant, the participant's vehicle or other equipment, or from some other observation point. The images recorded by the camera can be downloaded to a recording or other storage device to produce memorabilia (e.g., a CD ROM, or video cassette). If desired, the images can be sent in real-time through an event system and network (e.g., using a radio or other transmitter) to television, the Internet, and to other locations for producing the memorabilia or for providing images to television display devices, such as those located in a ski lodge for entertainment purposes or in a coach's or personal trainer's office for training purposes.
