Automatically adjustable treadmill control system
Systems and methods are described for automatically adjusting the speed of a treadmill system. The system periodically receives outputs from the range sensor indicative of the position of a user on the treadmill belt. The system calculates an average location when a defined number of outputs have been received, identifies a zone corresponding to the average location, and determines a speed adjustment based on the identified zone. After waiting for a defined delay period after receiving the first output of the range sensor, the speed adjustment command is used to adjust the speed of the treadmill motor. The delay period may be defined by the amount of time necessary to receive the defined number of outputs from the range sensor.
Method for synchronizing data collected from a camera device and a motion sensing device and data processing device generating the synchronized data
Provided is a method for synchronizing data between different types of devices for collecting and processing data with respect to a moving object, comprising: sampling first type data with respect to a motion of the object from one device; sampling second type data with respect to a motion of the object from another device having a larger sampling interval than the device; and generating data corresponding to a sampling time of the first type data by combining second type data respectively sampled before and after the sampling time of the first type data in a sampling interval of the second type data, to generate data synchronized with the sampling time of the first type data with respect to the second type data.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR REAL-TIME DATA QUANTIFICATION, ACQUISITION, ANALYSIS AND FEEDBACK
This disclosure relates to systems, media, and methods for quantifying and monitoring exercise parameters and/or motion parameters, including performing data acquisition, analysis, and providing scientifically valid, clinically relevant, and/or actionable diagnostic feedback. Disclosed embodiments may receive real-time sensor data from a motion sensor or sensors mounted on a user and/or equipment while a user performs a test motion. Disclosed embodiments may also calculate a test motion profile based on the real-time sensor data, the test motion profile describing a multi-dimensional representation of the test motion performed by the user or computed motion profiles. Disclosed embodiments may include comparing the test motion profile to a template motion profile to determine a deviation amount for the test motion profile indicating how the test motion deviated from the template motion profile. Still further embodiments may correlate test motion profiles over time with health indicators.
Shock-Absorbing Light-and-Siren, Hologram Projection Advertisement, and Sensing Goal Post System
A multimedia crossbar system for goal posts of different spots. The system includes a goal frame, a net, a rear net frame, a multimedia bar, and a transparent display screen. The goal frame includes a front crossbar, a first post, and a second post to yield a U-shape. The rear net frame holds up the net behind the goal frame and includes a rear crossbar, a first rear post, and a second rear post. The multimedia bar includes a support bar, a plurality of lights, a plurality of speakers, and a plurality of sponsor display panels for audiovisual entertainment around the goal frame. The support bar is mounted to the rear crossbar and support the lights, speakers, and the sponsor display panels. The transparent display screen provides another visual medium for advertisement and other similar content. The transparent display screen is positioned and perimetrically connected within the rear net frame.
Golf club
A golf club has within the grip a main device, a connector, a wireless module, an antenna, a light emitting element, and an optical fiber. The main device is a device that includes a sensor such as a motion sensor, a circuit such as a CPU, and a battery. The light emitting element is an indicating means that emits light in accordance with the state of a component mounted in the golf club. The light emitted by the light emitting element is guided to the grip end by the optical fiber and emitted to the outside of the grip via the grip end.
Creating personalized athletic-performance models
In one embodiment, a method includes receiving, from one or more sensors, biomechanical data of a first user performing a plurality of actions of a first action-type and outcome data of a plurality of outcomes corresponding to the respective plurality of actions. A plurality of sets of action-parameter values may be determined based on the received biomechanical data, where each of the sets of action-parameter values corresponds to a respective action of the plurality of actions. An athletic-performance model of the first user may be generated based on the plurality of sets of action-parameter values. The athletic-performance model may be a statistical model including probabilities computed with respect to the sets of action-parameter values and the outcome data.
Systems and methods for tracking dribbling and passing performance in sporting environments
Systems and methods are provided for tracking a dribbling and/or passing motion associated with a person engaged in either a training session for a sporting event or the live play of the sporting event. In sporting events, a dribbling motion can be associated with a repetitive movement or a short trajectory sequence between changes of direction of a ball, puck or other object used in the sporting event. A passing motion can be associated with the movement of the ball, puck or other object between two people during the sporting event. The system can use one or more sensors to capture information about a person dribbling and/or passing an object and at least one processor to analyze the information to determine and evaluate one or more characteristics associated with the dribbling, the passing motion, or a transition from dribbling to passing.
GOLF CLUBS AND GOLF CLUB HEADS
Golf clubs according to at least some example aspects of this disclosure may include a golf club head and a shaft configured to engage with the golf club head which includes a grip engaged with the shaft. Further, the golf club may include a monitoring device, which includes a sensor and a transmitter. Additionally, the monitoring device may be configured to determine data related to the characteristics of a golf swing. Further, the monitoring device may be configured to transmit the data related to the characteristics of a golf swing to a remote computer.
ELECTRIC WALKING ASSISTANCE DEVICE FOR FACILITATING GAIT ACTIVITY AND THE APPLICATION METHOD THEREOF
An electric walking assistance device is provided. The electric walking assistance device comprises: a support member comprising at least one movable component; a user area where a user can stand, wherein the user area is a ground area adjacent to the support member. The electric walking assistance device further comprises at least one gait monitoring module and at least one gait assisting module, wherein the at least one gait monitoring module and the at least one gait assisting module are on the support member, the user's body, an arbitrary point within the detection range covering a range of user activities or any combinations thereof.
Wireless Tracking System to Monitor and Guide a User
Multiple different sensors are worn by a user to monitor a user's movement. Information associated with the user's monitored movement is gathered from the sensors and analysis of the gathered information produces one or more notifications that can guide the user on how to conduct the movement. The notifications are then provided to the user.
