MOTION ASSISTANCE APPARATUS
A motion assistance apparatus including a first frame, a connection frame connected to the first frame, the connection frame configured to rotate relative to the first frame, a second frame connected to the connection frame, the second frame configured to rotate relative to the connection frame, and a power transmission member configured to change, based on a first angle between the first frame and the connection frame, a second angle between the connection frame and the second frame.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR DELIVERING BIOMECHANICAL FEEDBACK TO HUMAN AND OBJECT MOTION
A method and system to deliver biomechanical feedback utilizes three major elements: (1) multiple hardware data capture devices, including optical motion capture, inertial measurement units, infrared scanning devices, and two-dimensional RGB consecutive image capture devices, (2) a cross-platform compatible physics engine compatible with optical motion capture, inertial measurement units, infrared scanning devices, and two-dimensional RGB consecutive image capture devices, and (3) interactive platforms and user-interfaces to deliver real-time feedback to motions of human subjects and any objects in their possession and proximity.
METHOD FOR PROVIDING EXERCISE INFORMATION AND WEARABLE DEVICE THEREFOR
Provided is a method of providing exercise information, performed by a wearable device, the method including displaying a list including at least one piece of previous exercise record information, receiving an input to select first previous exercise record information from the list from a user, obtaining the user's current exercise record information, comparing the selected first previous exercise record information with the current exercise record information, and displaying an image indicating comparison result information.
MODULAR PROJECTILE WITH MULTIPLE FUNCTIONALITY
A projectile in form of a spherical ball, a prolate spheroid ball, an oblate spheroid ball, a missile-shaped projectile, a tubular projectile, or a cone-shaped projectile, comprising electronic circuitries for performing at least one of projectile motion, impact, speed, force, rotation, gyration, and vibration sensing, interactive light and sound generation, projectile location tracking, data communication, and user control interfacing; and compartments or cavities in, and/or subsurface concavities around the main body of the projectile, each compartment, cavity, or subsurface concavity is configured to accommodate and allow attachment of an interchangeable module; wherein the one or more interchangeable modules comprises at least one of speaker modules, light modules, tail modules, logo panel modules, light modules, electronic display modules, wing modules, and fin modules.
REHABILITATION COMPLIANCE DEVICES
A tracking and compliance system includes devices to track fitness activity and determine compliance with a rehab program. The tracking and compliance system includes at least one biometric sensor for tracking biometric data from a patient and at least one motion sensor for tracking motion data while a fitness activity is being performed by the patient. The biometric data and motion data are correlated over time to generate activity data for the fitness activity. The activity data can then be compared against a biometric signature for the patient for that type of fitness activity to determine compliance. The biometric signature comprises correlated biometric data and motion data from the fitness activity being previously performed by the patient, for instance, in the presence of a rehabilitation healthcare. A biometric signature can be provided for each of a number of different fitness activities for a given patient.
Activity recognition with activity reminders
An athletic performance monitoring system, for motivating a user to reach a goal level of athletic activity. The system may motivate the user by calculation a deficit between a current total level of activity and the goal level of athletic activity, and suggesting activity types that the user may carry out an order to reach the goal level, wherein the suggested activity types may be based on activities that are geographically close to the user, or sporting equipment worn by, or in possession of, the user.
Monitoring performance and generating feedback with athletic-performance models
In one embodiment, a method includes accessing an athletic-performance model of a first user, where the model is based on a plurality of sets of action-parameter values of action parameters of the first user. The action-parameter values may be determined based on biomechanical data of the first user performing a plurality of actions of a first action-type and outcome data of each action. A current skill level of the first user may be determined based on a measure of variances associated with action parameters of the first action-type. Target ranges of action-parameter values may be calculated for action parameters based on the athletic-performance model. Each target range may be based on a measure of probability with respect to the particular action parameters and the outcome data. A report of athletic-performance feedback may be generated and may include current skill level information and the target ranges of action-parameter values.
Towel trainer
A towel trainer for use in drills for improving pitching mechanics includes a tail portion that transitions to a handle portion which is bulbous, and, a band resides between the head and tail portions which provides a pronounced snapping effect when a towel drill is performed correctly. The towel trainer may include a motion sensing circuit and audible alerts to notify a trainee of proper or improper body mechanics.
FRAMEWORKS, DEVICES AND METHODOLOGIES CONFIGURED TO ENABLE AUTOMATED CATEGORISATION AND/OR SEARCHING OF MEDIA DATA BASED ON USER PERFORMANCE ATTRIBUTES DERIVED FROM PERFORMANCE SENSOR UNITS
The present application relates generally to managing media. In some embodiments, time-coded skill performance event data is derived from end-user hardware including a plurality of Motion Sensor Units (MSUs), such as a MSU-enabled garment. Data derived from the MSUs is processed to identify performance events representative of specific predefined physical motion-based skills. This allows automated categorisation and/or identification of video data responsive to presence of particular skills that have been performed and captured.
SMART PERFORMANCE FOOTWEAR AND SYSTEM
A footwear system that includes a left having a left toe region, left forefoot region, a left arch region and a left heel region, a left outsole, a left upper secured to the left outsole, and a left sensor system that includes at least a first left heel pressure sensor positioned in the left heel region, and at least a first left forefoot pressure sensor positioned in the left forefoot region. The footwear system also includes a right shoe that includes a right toe region, a right forefoot region, a right arch region and a right heel region, a right outsole, a right upper secured to the right outsole, and a right sensor system that includes at least a first right heel pressure sensor positioned in the right heel region, and at least a first right forefoot pressure sensor positioned in the right forefoot region.
