EXERCISE BIOFEEDBACK USING SENSOR-EQUIPPED ATHLETIC GARMENTS

An exercise feedback system monitors the performance of athletes wearing a garment with sensors while exercising. The sensors generate physiological data such as muscle activation data, heart rate data, or data describing the athlete's movement. The system extracts features from the physiological data and compares the features with reference exercise data to determine metrics of performance and biofeedback. Based on the physiological data, the system may also modify exercise training programs for the athlete. The exercise feedback system can display the biofeedback using visuals or audio, as well as modified exercise training programs, via the athlete's client device in real time while the athlete is exercising. By reviewing the biofeedback, the athlete may correct the athlete's exercise form to properly use the target muscles for the exercise, or change the certain workouts to personalize the training program.

Wheelchair Training System

A wheelchair training system that comprises: a platform (110) that receives the wheelchair; two elongated parallel rollers (250) that are mounted on the platform (110) and are in tangential contact with two rear wheels (150, 160) of the wheelchair such that the two rollers (250) spin when the two rear wheels (150,160) rotate; and a spinning resistance control system (300) mounted on the platform (110) includes a magnet (310) that moves in different positions so that an overlapping area between a magnetic field generated from the magnet (310) and end of the two rollers (250) varies due to the magnet (310) being moved to the different positions. The magnetic field of the magnet (310) induces an eddy current in the two rollers (250) and generates a resistive force against rotation of the two wheels (150,160).

MOVEMENT ANALYSIS DEVICE, MOVEMENT ANALYSIS METHOD AND RECORDING MEDIUM

A movement analysis device includes a sensor information acquisition unit and a swing identification processing unit. The sensor information acquisition unit acquires sensor information that is movement information from a sensor unit which is attached to a target person and which senses the movement of the target person. The swing identification processing unit individually identifies the time of the start of the movement and the time of the completion thereof with reference to a predetermined threshold value in a predetermined timing of the sensor information that is the movement information acquired from the sensor information acquisition unit. The swing identification processing unit identifies a movement within the range of the operation based on the time of the start of the movement and the time of the completion that are identified.

GOLF CLUB HEADS

Some disclosed golf club heads include body having at least one raised sole portion and a cantilevered ledge extending down around a perimeter of the club head below the level of the raised sole portion. Some disclosed golf club heads include one or more sole openings in the body and a sole insert that is mounted inside the body over the sole openings. The sole can include weight tracks as well, and a rear weight track can extend between a toe side sole opening and a heel side sole opening. A crown insert can also be included that is mounted over an upper opening in the body.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR REMOTELY PROVIDING AND MONITORING PHYSICAL THERAPY
20240359057 · 2024-10-31 ·

An apparatus, a method, and a computer program product for use in performing, monitoring, and evaluating the performance of therapeutic exercises. The apparatus includes a human-device interface and a motion sensor. In response to movement of the human-device interface, a controller receives motion data from the motion sensor, and transmits the motion data to a computing device. Based on the motion data, the computing device displays a graphical element that depicts the movement. The computing device compares the movement to a target motion, and if the movement matches the target motion, displays a graphical element indicating an exercise is being performed properly. If the movement does not match the target motion, the computing device indicates the exercise is not being performed properly and displays another graphical element indicating how to correct the motion.

PROTECTIVE PACING ENGINE AND MEASUREMENT PLATFORM

The technology relates to a measurement system that is retained by an athlete during an athletic activity. In an example, the measurement system includes a housing that includes: an accelerometer; a gyroscope; at least one processor; and at least one memory, the at least one memory storing instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor cause the system to perform operations. In an example, the operations include receiving accelerometer data and gyroscope data generated by the accelerometer and the gyroscope during a ground-contact portion of a stride; generating one or more impact metrics based on at least one of the accelerometer data or the gyroscope data; generating a real-time pacing value based on the generated one or more impact metrics; and causing a physical output based on the generated real-time pacing value.

GOLF SWING PRACTICE SYSTEM FOR TRAINING SELECTIVE MUSCLE ACTIVATION AND GOLF TRAINING METHOD USING THE SAME

A golf swing practice system is provided. The golf swing practice system includes one or more electromyography (EMG) sensors attached to a specific muscle point on a body of a user and a golf swing analysis device that is connected to the EMG sensor to enable data communication, wherein the golf swing analysis device may include a sensor signal collector configured to receive an EMG signal of the user from the EMG sensor, a data comparison analyzer configured to compare and analyze EMG data of the user and a professional golfer to be compared, and a user interface configured to receive information about a muscle that the user needs to train and display an analysis result of the data comparison analyzer.
