SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DETERMINING AXIAL ORIENTATION AND LOCATION OF A USER'S WRIST
This relates to systems and methods for determining the axial orientation and location of the user's wrist using one or more sensors located on the strap, the device underbody, or both. For example, the strap can include a plurality of elastic sections and a plurality of rigid sections. Each elastic section can include one or more flex sensors. In some examples, on or more electromyography (EMG) sensors can be included to measure the user's electrical signals, and the user's muscle activity can be determined. In some examples, a plurality of strain gauges can be included to generate one or more signals indicative of any changes in shape, size, and/or physical properties of the user's wrist. In some examples, the device can include a plurality of capacitance sensors for increased granularity and/or sensitivity in measuring the amount of tension exerted by the user's wrist.
SMART DEVICE
An Internet of Thing (IoT) device includes a sensor coupled to a processor; and a transceiver coupled to the processor. Blockchain smart contracts can be used with the device to facilitate secure operation.
Location-Activated Volume Control for Vehicle
A device and method for controlling the volume of played media through loudspeakers on a golf cart driven by a user with a Bluetooth connected device. A location receiver on the golf cart continuously signals a computing component a signal associated with a location of the golf cart on a golf course. If the golf cart is determined to be located in a volume control area, the volume of sound produced by an amplifier engaged with loudspeakers on the cart is reduced to a predetermined level for that control area. Other control areas can cause the playing of advertisements from the loudspeakers on the cart as it passes into them.
SMART PUTTER FOR GOLF CLUB
Disclosed is a smart putter for a golf club including a putter head having a putting surface for putting a golf ball on one side thereof, a swing detecting unit that is provided in the putter head to detect a balance degree of the putter head, a communication module that is provided in the putter head to transmit balance degree data of the putter head detected by the swing detecting unit to an external device, and a control unit that stores the balance degree data of the putter head detected by the swing detecting unit and transmits the balance degree data to the communication module.
HEADSET VISUAL DISPLACEMENT FOR MOTION CORRECTION
Many headset devices, such as virtual reality helmets, present visuals that respond to the user's motion, such that a rotation of the user's head causes the visual to be re-rendered from a correspondingly rotated perspective. The lag between the user's motion and the updated rendering from the new perspective may be perceivable even at high framerates, and may induce unpleasant feelings such as vertigo. Instead, headset devices may respond to detected motion by identifying a displacement of the physical location of the visual that causes it to maintain a physical position relative to a stationary reference point. The display is operatively coupled with a displacer, such as actuators or a projection adjustment, that are engaged to displace the display according to the identified displacement and maintain a physical location of the visual relative to the stationary reference point (e.g., until the visual is re-rendered from the updated perspective).
Force measurement system that includes a force measurement assembly, a visual display device, and one or more data processing devices
A force measurement system includes a force measurement assembly with a top surface configured to receive at least one portion of the body of a subject and at least one force transducer configured to sense forces and/or moments being applied to the top surface; at least one visual display device having an output screen, the output screen comprising an overhanging top portion so that a top edge of the output screen is not readily visible to the subject; and one or more data processing devices operatively coupled to the force measurement assembly and the at least one visual display device. In one or more embodiments, the force measurement assembly may be in the form of an instrumented treadmill. In one or more further embodiments, the force measurement system may additionally comprise a motion capture system configured to detect the motion of one or more body gestures of the subject.

Multi-Headed, Multi-Abdomen, Multi-Armed Apparatus For Use With A Slip And Counter Fight Simulation / Workout Machine Or Stand Alone Device For Fight Simulation
A free standing fight simulation workout machine has a fight simulation headed/multi-headed, with or without arms, member that is adapted to be used in conjunction with a slip and counter fight simulation apparatus or stand alone apparatus. The fight simulation headed member for a free standing fight simulation workout apparatus has at least one main support structure having a mounting means. The headed member comprises at least one head terminating at an elongated neck. When present, the arms are arranged to extend from or come out of different areas of said head, face and/or neck. Preferably, multiple heads are provided. The headed member includes a top mating mounting portion and the neck bottom includes a bottom mating mounting adapted to mount on bungee cords mounted through mounting means on the workout apparatus. The head or heads and protruding arms provide various angles adapted for a user to punch, knee, and/or do a flying knee.
GENERATING AN ANIMATION DEPICTING A USER USING MOTION AND PHYSIOLOGICAL DATA CAPTURED USING SENSORS
A system that wirelessly integrates actual sports equipment with a computer and the internet to allow players remotely located from one another to play a competitive simulated sports game.
HIT BALL DIRECTION TEACHING APPARATUS, HIT BALL DIRECTION TEACHING METHOD, AND HIT BALL DIRECTION TEACHING SYSTEM
A hit ball direction teaching apparatus includes a target direction acquisition section that acquires a target hit ball direction, an environmental information acquisition section that acquires environmental information, a processing section that obtains a delivery direction of a hit ball on the basis of the target hit ball direction and the environmental information, and generates notification data of the delivery direction, and a notification section (display) that performs a notification of the delivery direction on the basis of the notification data.
