A stationary indoor smart training bicycle includes a unique combination of adjustable components to provide configurable dimensions to adjust the frame size of the indoor bicycle to properly fit a rider. A system is also provided to process a digital image of an outdoor bicycle and determine and translate dimensions and adjustments to the indoor bicycle to match one or more dimensions (lengths, angles, separations, etc.) of the outdoor bicycle.

Simulation system and method

A simulation system in which an amateur player may obtain an assessment of how the amateur players skills compare to those of an average professional athlete or a selected professional athlete that takes into consideration the physical differences between the amateur player and the professional athlete. Measurements of an amateur player are obtained and compared to those of a professional athlete. Such comparisons are used to adjust parameters for a physical or virtual simulation that may be used to assess the abilities of amateur player relative to that of the professional athlete.

Kinematic analysis of user form
12440746 · 2025-10-14 · ·

A method includes receiving motion data of a user in an environment with respect to a plurality of instances of a first action by the user, determining a kinematic movement based on receiving the motion data, analyzing the kinematic movement using a neural network, obtaining a plurality of outcome types with respect to the first action of the user, correlating the kinematic movement with the at least one indication of the outcome type with respect to the first action, classifying an outcome of the first action as at least one of the plurality of outcome types, determining which of the kinematic movements of the user result in the at least one of the plurality of outcome types, and providing instructions to the user to alter the determined kinematic movements of the user that result in the at least one of the plurality of outcome types.

Adaptive athletic activity prescription systems

Systems and methods for prescribing athletic activity to be performed by a user, and for adapting the prescribed athletic activity based on completed (e.g. ongoing) athletic performances by the user. A coaching plan may be automatically created that prescribes personalized athletic activities as a user trains towards a goal date. The athletic information may be received from one or more sensor devices associated with a user, and the coaching plan may be continuously or intermittently updated based on the received sensor data.

ERGONOMIC HELD WEIGHT UNITS, RELATED COMPUTING DEVICE APPLICATIONS AND METHOD OF USE
20250318785 · 2025-10-16 ·

Handheld weight units of light weight manufactured as a solid unit, a shell unit with core insert combinations or modular units with interlocking ends. Shell units with core inserts and modular interlocking units allow for the changing of held weight by inserting or removing inserts or by locking or unlocking of modular weight unit sets creating varying held weight. The weight units are primarily used with upper body exercises during aerobic exercises in the home, outdoors, or in a gym setting such as walking or running to vary the intensity of workout during use.

Interactive soccer system

Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for a soccer system. The soccer system includes a display screen, a plurality of sensors configured to generate sensor data regarding a shot attempt of a user, imaging devices configured to generate image data of the shot attempt, a speaker, and a control unit. The control unit can receive (i) the sensor data from the plurality of sensors and (ii) the image data from the imaging devices. Based on the received sensor data, the control unit can determine whether the shot attempt was successful. Based on the received image data and whether the shot attempt was successful, the control unit can generate analytics that indicate characteristics of the user and the shot attempt and recommendations for improving the shot attempt for subsequent shot attempts. The control unit can provide output data representing the analytics.

Method to Identify Right and Left Impact during Running using a Single Sacrum-Mounted IMU
20250325877 · 2025-10-23 ·

A method for biomechanical motion tracking records accelerometer and rate gyroscope data from a single inertial measurement unit mounted on the sacrum of a runner. Recorded resultant linear acceleration measurements and recorded angular velocity measurements about the anterior-posterior axis are processed to identify right foot impact events and left foot impact events. Impact events are identified using crackle, the third derivative of the resultant linear acceleration measurements. Left and right impact events are distinguished using the angular velocity measurements.
