Smart soccer goal
A smart soccer goal for tracking and communicating motion of objects includes a goal frame; a net coupled to the goal frame including a plurality of lights; and one or more sensors coupled to the goal frame. A first sensor of the one or more sensors is directed to detecting movement within and immediately near the smart soccer goal and a second sensor of the one or more sensors is directed to detecting movement outside of the smart soccer goal.
Method and system for athletic motion analysis and instruction
A system and method for analyzing and improving the performance of a body motion of an animal or human subject requires instrumenting a subject with inertial sensors, monitoring a body motion of interest, converting sensor data into motion data and animation, comparing the motion data with existing data for motion related performance parameters, providing a real-time, information rich, animation and data display of the results in color coded displays; and based on the results prescribing a training regime with exercises selected from a library of standardized exercises using standardized tools and training aids.
Systems and methods for real-time data quantification, acquisition, analysis, and feedback
This disclosure relates to systems, media, and methods for quantifying and monitoring exercise parameters and/or motion parameters, including performing data acquisition, analysis, and providing scientifically valid, clinically relevant, and/or actionable diagnostic feedback. Disclosed embodiments may receive real-time sensor data from a motion sensor or sensors mounted on a user and/or equipment while a user performs a test motion. Disclosed embodiments may also calculate a test motion profile based on the real-time sensor data, the test motion profile describing a multi-dimensional representation of the test motion performed by the user or computed motion profiles. Disclosed embodiments may include comparing the test motion profile to a template motion profile to determine a deviation amount for the test motion profile indicating how the test motion deviated from the template motion profile. Still further embodiments may correlate test motion profiles over time with health indicators.
Walking training apparatus and method of controlling the same
A walking training apparatus includes: a treadmill; a walking assistance apparatus configured to be mounted on a leg part of a user and assist the user's walking; a first pulling means for pulling at least one of the walking assistance apparatus and the leg part of the user upward and frontward; a second pulling means for pulling at least one of the walking assistance apparatus and the leg part of the user upward and rearward; and control means for controlling, while the treadmill is not being operated, pulling forces of the first pulling means and the second pulling means in such a way that the direction of a resultant pulling force, which is a resultant force of the pulling force of the first pulling means and the pulling force of the second pulling means, is changed rearward compared to a case in which the treadmill is being operated.
Method and System for Automated Personal Training that Includes Training Programs
Systems and methods for creating personalized exercise programs are disclosed. An image capture device and a computer device are used to capture images of a user while the user performs athletic movements. The images may then be evaluated to create a human movement screen score. The human movement screen score, goal and time commitment information may then be used to create a personalized exercise program tailored to the specific user.
IMAGE PROCESSING DEVICE AND IMAGE PROCESSING SYSTEM
There is provided an image processing device to enable a user to experience a VR space in a floating state, the image processing device including: a wall configured to form a water storage space; and an image generating unit configured to generate a stereoscopic view image to be displayed on the wall toward an inside of the water storage space.
Adaptive Athletic Activity Prescription Systems
Systems and methods for prescribing athletic activity to be performed by a user, and for adapting the prescribed athletic activity based on completed (e.g. ongoing) athletic performances by the user. A coaching plan may be automatically created that prescribes personalized athletic activities as a user trains towards a goal date. The athletic information may be received from one or more sensor devices associated with a user, and the coaching plan may be continuously or intermittently updated based on the received sensor data.
SPORTS APPARATUS FOR PROVIDING INFORMATION
A device for providing information to a user, the device including means for measuring heart rate of the user, a sensor for detecting an orientation of the device, a light source for emitting a light beam from the device to render the information in a surface outside of the device; and at least one actuator for adjusting relative direction of the light beam in respect to the orientation of the device.
HEIGHT TARGET SCORING DEVICE
The present invention provides a height target exercise scoring device comprising a pad adapted to absorb repeated impacts, the pad including a front exposed surface, a rear surface adapted to be mounted onto a wall, and an array of impact sensors positioned beneath the exposed surface. The target height exercise scoring device also includes a housing coupled to the pad including a control system. The control system includes an interface for inputting a target height parameter, and a processor coupled to the array of impact sensors configured to determine whether an impact registered by the array of impact sensors occurs on the pad at or above the input target height, and to generate feedback signals corresponding to whether the impact has or has not occurred at the target height.
EXERCISE APPARATUS AND SYSTEM
An exercise system enabling a user to safely, consistently, and restorably move from a first position to a second, desired position, and back to the first position. The exercise system may enable a user to engage their abdominal, latissimus, gluteal, biceps, triceps, spinal, pectoral, and other muscles. The exercise system may include arms arcuately extending from a central base, the arms including multiple restoration/tension bands coupled to the arms and central base at different locations to provide both resistance of arcuate movement away from the base (user moving from a first position) and arcuate restoration forces back towards the base during the completion of an exercise movement or set (user moving back to the first position after reaching a desired second position).
