Bluetooth enabled ball analyzer and locator
A Bluetooth chip designed to track proximity and play a sound, along with an accelerometer, that is embedded inside of a golf ball is disclosed. The technology inside the balls allows it to be found quickly through proximity and sound, and the app gives a golfer helpful analytical data.
Augmented extended realm system
A machine implemented method for simulated sports training includes the steps displaying a simulated environment having one or more virtual objects of a sporting event; displaying to a user a moving object in the simulated environment in accordance with object path data representing an object path and conditions of motion of the moving object as a function of time; correlating soundscape data to the object path data, the soundscape data being dependent on both object path of the moving object in the object path and the conditions of motion; and outputting sound to the user based on the correlated soundscape data either before or during displaying to the user the moving object, thereby providing spatial auditory clues for assisting tracking eye movements of the user to train the user to anticipate or recognize a trajectory of the moving object.
Blockchain
An Internet of Thing (IoT) device includes a transceiver coupled to a processor. Blockchain smart contracts can be used with the device to facilitate secure operation.
METHOD OF UNLOCKING A CONTROL UNIT OF AN EXERCISE MACHINE AND EXERCISE MACHINE IMPLEMENTING SUCH METHOD
A method for unlocking a control unit of an exercise machine includes providing the exercise machine, having at least one sensor for detecting presence of a user on the exercise machine, with at least one electrical signal representative of a detection carried out at the time of the occupation of the exercise machine by a user. The method further includes switching, by the exercise machine, the control unit of the exercise machine from a first locking condition to at least a second operating condition in which the user may issue commands to the exercise machine by the control unit, based on the at least one electrical signal provided by said at least one sensor for detecting the presence of the user on the exercise machine.
GOLF BALL WITH BUILT-IN MODULE INCLUDING ELECTRONIC CIRCUIT AND POWER SOURCE
A golf ball according to the present invention includes: a module including an electronic circuit and its power source; a protective layer that surrounds an outer periphery of the module and is formed from a material having a Shore D hardness of at least 60; a core that surrounds an outer periphery of the protective layer; and a cover that surrounds an outer periphery of the core. A weight may be arranged on a surface of the protective layer. A difference between a value MOImax of the moment of inertia in a direction in which the moment of inertia of the golf ball is maximum and a value MOImin of the moment of inertia in a direction in which the moment of inertia of the golf ball is minimum is at most 1.0 g.Math.cm.sup.2.
Apparatus for protecting finger, thumb, and hand
A finger brace device is disclosed herein. The finger brace device can comprise a first hinge component configured to connect a proximal component configured to fit around at least a first portion of a finger near a wrist, to an intermediate component located at a central portion of the apparatus, wherein the proximal component is located at a lateral portion of the apparatus. Also disclosed is a second hinge component configured to connect the intermediate component of the apparatus to a distal component configured to fit around at least a second portion of the finger near a finger nail, wherein the distal component is located at a distal portion of the apparatus.
Shock-absorbing light-and-siren, hologram projection advertisement, and sensing goal post system
A multimedia crossbar system for goal posts of different spots. The system includes a goal frame, a net, a rear net frame, a multimedia bar, and a transparent display screen. The goal frame includes a front crossbar, a first post, and a second post to yield a U-shape. The rear net frame holds up the net behind the goal frame and includes a rear crossbar, a first rear post, and a second rear post. The multimedia bar includes a support bar, a plurality of lights, a plurality of speakers, and a plurality of sponsor display panels for audiovisual entertainment around the goal frame. The support bar is mounted to the rear crossbar and support the lights, speakers, and the sponsor display panels. The transparent display screen provides another visual medium for advertisement and other similar content. The transparent display screen is positioned and perimetrically connected within the rear net frame.
Weighted wrist band assembly
A weighted wrist band assembly includes a band that is wearable around a cuff of a boxing glove when the boxing glove is worn for boxing training. A strap is coupled to the band and the strap is matable to the band such that the band and the strap form a closed loop around the cuff of the boxing glove. A grip is coupled to the band and the grip is unrestrained when the band and strap are worn around the boxing glove. Thus, a trainee can manipulate the grip when the trainee is wearing boxing gloves. A flexible weight is positioned within the band for increasing a weight of the boxing glove thereby enhancing strength training and endurance training when the boxing glove is worn.
Force measurement system
A force measurement system is disclosed herein. The force measurement system includes a force measurement assembly configured to receive a subject thereon, and one or more data processing devices operatively coupled to the force measurement assembly. In one or more embodiments, the one or more data processing devices are configured to generate a first image portion comprising a primary screen image for viewing by the subject and display the first image portion using the at least one visual display device, and the one or more data processing devices are further configured to generate a second image portion comprising a virtual screen surround and display the second image portion using the at least one visual display device. The virtual screen surround of the second image portion is configured to at least partially circumscribe three sides of a torso of the subject and to substantially encompass a peripheral vision of the subject.
APPARATUS, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS FOR GATHERING AND PROCESSING BIOMETRIC AND BIOMECHANICAL DATA
Apparatus, systems, and methods are provided for measuring and analyzing movements of a body and for communicating information related to such body movements over a network. In certain embodiments, a system gathers biometric and biomechanical data relating to positions, orientations, and movements of various body parts of a user performed during sports activities, physical rehabilitation, or military or law enforcement activities. The biometric and biomechanical data can be communicated to a local and/or remote interface, which uses digital performance assessment tools to provide a performance evaluation to the user. The performance evaluation may include a graphical representation (e.g., a video), statistical information, and/or a comparison to another user and/or instructor.
