In this evaporated fuel treatment apparatus, there are set a purge condition that is a condition for performing purge control, a first pre purge condition that is met before the purge condition is met, and a second pre purge condition that is met between the purge condition and the first pre purge condition. A purge pump is driven at an idling speed lower than a rated speed to execute idle rotation when the first pre purge condition is met. The purge pump is driven at the rated speed to execute rated rotation when the second pre purge condition is met. A purge valve is opened while the rated rotation is performed when the purge condition is met.

A hybrid drive for a vehicle includes an electric machine, an internal combustion engine, and a transmission with a transmission input shaft. The electric machine and the internal combustion engine are coupled to the transmission input shaft such that the electric machine and the internal combustion engine cannot be decoupled.

HYBRID VEHICLE

A vehicle includes an engine, a second MG for running, a battery that supplies and receives electric power to and from the second MG, and an ECU. The ECU is configured to control the engine and the second MG and to execute intake air amount learning. When the SOC of the battery exceeds a second threshold value that is higher than a first threshold value while the vehicle is running using the second MG with the engine in a stopped state, the ECU maintains the engine in the stopped state and maintains the second MG in a driven state, and then does not execute the intake air amount learning. When the SOC of the battery takes a value between the first threshold value and the second threshold value, the ECU starts the engine, drives the second MG with constant torque, and executes the intake air amount learning.

Control method and control device for vehicular internal combustion engine
11149666 · 2021-10-19 · ·

A vehicular internal combustion engine system includes an internal combustion engine and an electric intake air supply device. The internal combustion engine is shifted into a stoichiometric combustion mode, and a lean combustion mode. The electric intake air supply device is driven by an on-vehicle battery, and employed to contribute a part of intake air quantity at least under a specific operating condition when in the lean combustion mode. A control method includes: determining an electric energy of the electric intake air supply device that is required to maintain achievement of a target air fuel ratio of the lean combustion mode when in a lean combustion operation region; and causing a shift from the lean combustion mode into a stoichiometric combustion mode when the on-vehicle battery is in an insufficient state of charge with respect to the electric energy.
