An exercise machine may include a frame, a resistance mechanism supported by the frame, first and second pull cables supported by the frame and linked to the resistance mechanism, a power rack attached to the frame, first and second handles selectively attachable to the first and second pull cable, and first and second pulleys. The power rack includes upright posts configured to have barbell holders adjustably attached thereto such that the barbell holders are configured to be adjusted in various positions between highest positions and lowest positions on the upright posts. The pulleys are configured to selectively receive the pull cables to enable the pull cables to be selectively attached to a barbell to assist or hinder a user in lifting the barbell in a combined cableand free weight workout, the pull cables decoupled from the pulleys for cable workouts.

Omnidirectional treadmill system
20230226404 · 2023-07-20 ·

The invention provides an omnidirectional treadmill system that uses an inner core which is inflated within a tread membrane. On the outside surface of the inflated inner core are ball casters which push outward against the interior of the membrane, resulting in a low friction barrier between the inner core and the inside surface of the tread membrane. The tread membrane rests on a sphere directly below the user in the center of the device. When the sphere is rotated it drives the tread around the stationary inner core. The sphere rotation is accomplished using a holonomic drive system such as motorized omni wheels. The device uses an enclosure which encircles the tread area. The enclosure serves two purposes: to enhance safety of the user and to provide a surface for image projection to the user in virtual reality applications.

A handle of the treadmill may have a sensor to sense a height and front-rear position, and a belt divider provided between the left and right belts may have position or proximity sensors to sense a left-right position. An inclination of the treadmill may be automatically adjusted according to positions detected by the sensors, and the fragrance assembly, attachment module, and inclination may be automatically operated in accordance with an exercise program played on the display.
