Dry swim simulation system
A dry swim simulation system is described. A portion of the system includes a platform extending vertically from the base platform and a first and a second retractable pulley. Another portion of the system includes a first support assembly comprising a first movable cradle configured to receive thighs of the user and a second support assembly. The second support assembly includes a second movable cradle configured to receive a torso of the user, a computing device, and a headrest comprising an opening configured to receive a face of the user such that the user views the computing device. The computing device is configured to receive parameters associated with the user during use of the dry swim simulation system from numerous electrical and/or mechanical components. The computing device is configured to analyze the parameters and provide real-time feedback to the user to improve performance of swimming strokes.
Strength training apparatus with multi-cable force production
A method of varying a dynamic resistive force during a strength training exercise includes receiving a selection of the strength training exercise from a set of available strength training exercises and obtaining exercise logic for the strength training exercise from computer memory. The exercise logic provides instructions for generating a vector that defines the dynamic resistive force provided at an end effector of a strength training apparatus during the strength training exercise. The method includes determining a real-time geometric arrangement of a plurality of cables coupled to the end effector, generating, based on the real-time geometric arrangement of the plurality of cables and the exercise logic, time-varying operating setpoints for a plurality of actuator assemblies coupled to the plurality of cables, and exerting the dynamic resistive force at the end effector by controlling the plurality of actuator assemblies in accordance with the time-varying operating setpoints.
INTERACTIVE EXERCISE APPARATUS
An interactive exercise apparatus for guiding a user to perform an exercise includes a frame, a mirror, a display device, a driving mechanism, and a control unit. The mirror is movably mounted on the frame and configured to reflect an image of the user. The display device is disposed on a backside of the mirror and visible through the mirror. The driving mechanism is configured to drive the mirror to move with respect to the frame. The control unit is operable to control the driving mechanism according to a location of the user so as to control the mirror to move to a suitable position where the user can see their reflected image.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PERSONALIZED EXERCISE PROTOCOLS AND TRACKING THEREOF
Systems and methods for providing a customized exercise protocol to a computing device of a user. As the user performs the exercise protocol, one or more cameras of the computing device can track the user's movements. The user's movement are assessed to determine if proper form and technique is being used.
CLIMBING WALL WITH INPUT BASED CLIMBER FEEDBACK OUTPUTS AND SYSTEM FOR DELIVERING CLIMBING PATHS TO MULTIPLE CLIMBERS ON DIFFERENT WALLS SIMULTANEOUSLY
A rock climbing wall includes a support wall and a plurality of rock climbing holds attached to the support wall. The rock climbing wall also includes a sensing apparatus that determines that a climber traversing the rock climbing wall has contacted a first one of the plurality of rock climbing holds. In addition, the rock climbing wall includes a control device that, upon receipt of a signal from the sensing apparatus indicative of the climber contacting the first one of the plurality of rock climbing holds, causes at least a second one of the plurality of rock climbing holds to be indicated as an additional hold to be contacted as the climber traverses a climbing route along the wall.

VIRTUAL TASTINGS AND GUIDED TOURS FOR AUGMENTED REALITY EXPERIENCES
Example systems, devices, media, and methods are described for presenting a virtual guided fitness experience using the display of an eyewear device in augmented reality. A guided fitness application implements and controls the capturing of frames of motion data using an inertial measurement unit (IMU) and video data from one or more cameras. The method includes detecting exercise motions (with or without equipment) as well as detecting and counting repetitions. Relevant data about detected motions or equipment is retrieved and used to curate the guided fitness experience. A current rep count is presented on the display along with an avatar for playing messages, performing animated demonstrations, responding to commands and queries using speech recognition, and presenting guided fitness instructions through text, audio, and video.
