Stance training device for sled pushing
A training device that is easily and temporarily attachable to any existing sled training device. The training device includes a flexible, elongated plank that resides between an athlete's legs and helps train the athlete to maintain a proper stance width while blocking or pushing a sled. An embodiment includes a magnet secured to the plank at a first end of the plank. The magnet engages the sled and is detached from the sled when the athlete pushes the sled with an improperly narrow stance width. As a result, the athlete experiences a tactile and visual aid to distinguish between proper and improper stance width while pushing a sled.
Training device
A training device for teaching and practicing ball handling skills for basketball players or persons training for sports, the training device including stanchions positionable on a floor using attachment members, such as suction cups, or a flexible resilient layer. A crossbar extends between the stanchions. Flexible elements can be used to connect the stanchions to the suction cups. The lengths of the stanchions and crossbar can be adjustable to set the height of the crossbar above the floor and the separation of the crossbars. Detents can allow for adjustably fixing the lengths.
Method and system utilizing imaging analysis for golf balls
A method and system for determining concentricity of a multiple layer golf ball are disclosed herein. One or more images of a golf ball are generated using an X-ray source, a camera or a digital detector, and an image intensifier. An edge detection algorithm is preferably utilized. The method also includes calculating Y,Z center coordinates of the a best fit diameter or ellipse of the inner edge layer and outer edge layer of the multiple layer golf ball.
Table-tennis training apparatus and method thereof
A table-tennis training apparatus for training a player to apply spin to a table-tennis ball when using a racket to hit the ball. The table-tennis training apparatus has a ball holder for rotatably holding a table-tennis ball. When the ball thereon is hit by a racket, the ball holder pivots about an axis and an elastic structure coupled to the ball holder dampens the speed of the ball holder to prolong the contact time between the racket and the ball and consequently help the player to more clearly experience the feeling of applying spin to the ball and thus facilitate the player's training of applying spins to the ball.
Pivoting Board Exercise Device
A pivot board exercise device has a top circular part may rotate in relation to a bottom circular part, and a unique unibody or complex multi-arm resistance mechanism is secured at its center to a rotational center platform of the top circular part, and is secured at the end of each arm to posts projecting from the bottom circular part. The unibody multi-arm resistance mechanism is a single piece of resilient/flexible material, the complex multi-arm resistance mechanism has multiple arms attached at the ends to the bottom part, so when the top of the invention is rotated relative to the bottom, resistance is offered, the resistance increasing with rotation and occurring regardless of the direction of rotation.
Portable resistance machine
The present invention is a portable resistance machine that allows a user to perform rowing, skiing, paddling, or any other physical activities at any suitable location. The portable resistance machine contains a housing, a pulley, a flywheel, a planetary gear assembly, an anchor, a retraction mechanism, and a pull cord. The housing contains a central gear support. The pulley, the flywheel, the planetary gear assembly, and the retraction mechanism are positioned within the housing. The central gear support is positioned within the housing. The planetary gear assembly is positioned within the central gear support. The pulley and the flywheel are axially connected opposite to each other along the planetary gear assembly. The retraction mechanism is operatively connected to the pulley, where the retraction mechanism is configured to retract the pull cord into a spooled state around the pulley. The anchor is externally connected to the housing.
HEAVY OBJECT HEAD PROTECTION DEVICE
A two-sided device made of pliable material designed to protect an individual's face and/or head during exercise or other activities and can be mounted, fit against, or fit over the head of the user that is both safe and comfortable.
MOUNTAIN CLIMBING TRAINING APPARATUS
A training apparatus for mountain climbers. The training apparatus includes a base portion and a ring member. The ring member extends substantially perpendicular from the base portion. The training apparatus can also include an attachment mechanism secured to the base portion for securing the training apparatus to a surface.
Cornhole training device
A cornhole training device for simulating practice scenarios involving a blocking bag positional a cornhole game board. The cornhole training device integrates a suction component and a stabilizing plate with a cornhole bag. The stabilizing plate is retained within a pocket attached to an inside of the cornhole bag with the suction component extending through the pocket, the stabilizing plate, and the cornhole bag. The suction component attaches to and engages the cornhole gameboard surface. Alternatively, the device is configured to attach the suction component, the stabilizing plate, and the pocket to an existing cornhole bag. The cornhole training device is positional anywhere on the gameboard to simulate a cornhole bag obstructing the aperture.
Bat swing training device
A bat swing training device has a base assembly, an arm assembly adjustably connected to the base assembly, and a suction assembly that extends through and out of the arm assembly to hold a ball in a stationary position. The suction assembly includes a coil hose connected to a pump, and an upper hose connected to the coil hose at one end, and removably connected to a nozzle assembly at an opposite end.
