ALIGNMENT AID SYSTEM
The subject invention comprises a system, and method of using the system, for providing improved alignment in multiple settings. Appropriate settings include woodworking, machining, and sports, although there are several other practical applications for this technology. The invention employs one or more alignment stations that have a base plate that anchors into a flat surface, guides that fit into the base plate, a top rotating element that fits onto the base plate secures the first set of guides into place, and a positional lock that locks the rotating element into place relative to the base plate.
Collapsible and portable sports net apparatus
A net apparatus arranged to provide a net structure to capture or catch a projectile, that is easy to setup and is collapsible such that the frame structure is easy to assemble by a single individual. The net apparatus comprising a base structure including at least one support portion, at least one base extension, and a hinge, wherein the at least one support portion is coupled to the at least one base extension and the hinge. At least one rod is removably coupled to the base structure and received by a net, wherein the net is adapted to exert a force on the at least one rod causing the at least one rod to exert a force onto said hinge in order to lock the at least one support portion.
Exercise systems including weight clusters composed of weight pods, and components of such systems
Exercise systems that include self-coupling weight pods that couple with one another to form weight clusters that a user can use in performing various body movements, such as exercise and conditioning movements. Each weight pod typically has a calibrated weight so that the user may know the amount of weight they are using. Each weight pod includes one or more coupling features that allow that weight pod to couple to one or more other weight pods and/or to an accessory, such as a strap. In some embodiments, each weight pod is soft so as to inhibit injury to a user of another close by the user. The weight pods can be used with one or more accessories, such as a strap, a bell bag that emulates a kettle bell, and a rucksack that can be configured to be a multifunctional component of an overall exercise system, among others.
Sports skills training apparatus
A training apparatus arranged to be portable, collapsible, and able to be configured into different arrangements for different nets and/or different sports-related activities. The training apparatus comprises a support portion, base poles pivotally coupled to the support portion, base brackets coupled to the base poles opposite the support portion, extensions coupled to the base brackets, first and second flexible rods removably coupled to the support portion, and a net configured to be received by the flexible rods. The net is configured to bend the first and second flexible rods from a linear state to an arcuate state, such that a net tension holds the net upright.
Ball net structure with alterable base
A ball net structure arranged to be portable, collapsible, and able to be configured into different arrangements for different nets and/or different sports-related activities. The ball net structure comprising a base structure including at least one support portion, at least one base extension, and at least one base extension hinge, wherein the at least one support portion and the at least one base extension are coupled to the at least one base extension hinge. At least one rod is removably coupled to the base structure and received by a net, wherein the net is adapted to exert a force on the at least one rod causing the at least one rod to exert a force onto said base structure.
Table Tennis Training Device
The present invention relates to a device for training and correcting table tennis strokes. The invention comprises: a physical pendulum assembly (20), pendulum axel/pivot assembly (30), ball/axel assembly (50), serve practice assembly (40), table tennis ball/axel assembly (50), mounting bracket/clamp assembly (70) and mounting member 60a. The table tennis training device allows a user to develop their table tennis strokes by tangentially striking the table tennis ball of table tennis ball/axel assembly (50), or by rotating physical pendulum assembly (20) approximately 180 degrees and striking a user supplied table tennis ball off of table tennis ball tee (20j). The invention also allows a user to removably secure either, table tennis ball/axel assembly (50), or the table tennis ball tee (20j) into the unattached end of serve practice assembly (40) in order to practice striking a table tennis ball at various heights above a table tennis table.
BAR APPARATUS FOR REMOVABLE ATTACHMENT TO A SUPPORT SURFACE
The presently disclosed subject matter is directed to a bar apparatus that can be removably attached to a support surface. The disclosed apparatus, in particular embodiments, includes a support bar and at least two support members configured to securely (but removably) attach the support bar to a surface, such as a wall. The present disclosure is further directed to a method of installing a bar apparatus by, in one embodiment, attaching a first end of a support bar to a surface, rotating the bar apparatus about a rotating joint, and attaching a second end of the support bar to the surface.
Pool game device, system, and method
A kit comprising at least 2 devices adapted to be easily attached by way of suction to one or more sides or a bottom of a swimming pool, each of the devices having a grab member adapted to be grabbed by a hand of a child player or an adult player, the devices adapted to be easily attached to a side or bottom of the pool. A game can be played with the devices after they are attached at separate points such that a player may grab a first device with one hand and then a second device with another hand, moving along said side or said bottom while remaining under water. The device comprises a housing having an upper grab member having a height, diameter, cross-section, shape, and surface configured to be grabbed by a hand of a child or an adult, an actuator member configured to move up and down within the upper grab member, a spring member within the upper grab member arranged and adapted to urge the actuator member in an upward direction, and a flexible disk shaped member adapted to engage a swimming pool side or bottom by suction.
