TRAINING DEVICE
A training device for teaching and practicing ball handling skills for basketball players or persons training for sports, the training device including stanchions positionable on a floor using attachment members, such as suction cups, or a flexible resilient layer. A crossbar extends between the stanchions. Flexible elements can be used to connect the stanchions to the suction cups. The lengths of the stanchions and crossbar can be adjustable to set the height of the crossbar above the floor and the separation of the crossbars. Detents can allow for adjustably fixing the lengths.
Sports skills training apparatus
A training apparatus arranged to be portable, collapsible, and able to be configured into different arrangements for different nets and/or different sports-related activities. The training apparatus comprises a support portion, base poles pivotally coupled to the support portion, base brackets coupled to the base poles opposite the support portion, extensions coupled to the base brackets, first and second flexible rods removably coupled to the support portion, and a net configured to be received by the flexible rods. The net is configured to bend the first and second flexible rods from a linear state to an arcuate state, such that a net tension holds the net upright.
TRAINING APPARATUS
A training apparatus for use inside a water pool is provided, along with a number of auxiliary devices and accessories that can be used therewith. The training apparatus comprises, at least in its operational state, a floating member made from material having density lower than water density at room temperature, and a support assembly comprising at least one sinking member with at least one suction cup configured to removably adhere the sinking member to a submerged surface of the water pool; and at least one elongated member connecting between the floating member and the at least one sinking member for fixing a position of the floating member with respect to said submerged surface.
Net structure with a slide hinge apparatus
A ball net structure arranged to be portable, collapsible, and able to be configured into different arrangements for different nets and/or different sports-related activities. The ball net structure comprising a base structure including at least one support portion, at least one base extension, and at least one base extension hinge, wherein the at least one support portion and the at least one base extension are coupled to the at least one base extension hinge. At least one rod is removably coupled to the base structure and received by a net, wherein the net is adapted to exert a force on the at least one rod causing the at least one rod to exert a force onto said base structure.
FEPS (FLEXION EXTENSION PRONATION SUPINATION) DEVICES AND METHODS OF USE
A FEPS (flexion extension pronation supination) device includes: a structural frame; a shaft mounted to rotate relative to the structure frame; and a brake that is structured to apply a selectively variable resistance against rotation of the shaft relative to the structural frame. A FEPS (flexion extension pronation supination) device includes: a structural frame; a shaft mounted to rotate relative to the structure frame; and a gripping member mounted to the structural frame and structured to adhere to an external support surface. A method includes operating the FEPS device by rotating the shaft.
Hybrid adhesion system and method
A hybrid adhesion system includes an adhesion head including at least one suction cup and a handle and a vacuum generator mechanically coupled to the adhesion head. The vacuum generator includes at least one pneumatic cylinder having an internal volume in fluid communication with the at least one suction cup and a piston having a piston rod mechanically coupled to a manual actuator.
Collapsible net apparatus
A ball net structure arranged to be portable, collapsible, and provide the required structural support to receive or capture a projectile, such as but not limited to a soccer ball or baseball. The ball net structure comprises a support portion, first and second extensions, a first bracket pivotally coupling the first extension to the support portion, a second bracket pivotally coupling the second extension to the support portion, first and second flexible rods removably coupled to the support portion, and a net received by at least the first and second extensions and received by at least the first and second flexible rods. The net is configured to bend the first and second flexible rods from a linear state to an arcuate state, such that a net tension holds the net upright.
Shooting pro system
A basketball shooting training device includes a height adjustable stand and a reel member. The height adjustable stand includes a base member and an elongated adjustable post member. The base member is adapted to be placed on a basketball court and remain in a stable position. The post member is attached at a proximal end to the base member and extends vertically therefrom. The reel member includes a housing adapted to be removable connected to a distal end of the post member; a retractable winding mechanism attached within said housing; and an elongated cord member attached to said winding mechanism and adapted to be extended from said housing and releasably attached to a rim of a basketball goal.
EXERCISE DEVICE
An exercise device for exercising at least one of a human hand, wrist, and forearm, may include a pair of handles that rotatably mounted within sockets by exerting a force that can be adjusted. Further, levers may be pivotably mounted relative to handles to facilitate developing grip strength. Further, a vibrational force may be delivered to at least one of the handles to promote bone and muscle generation and inhibit their loss.
