A camshaft housing includes two longitudinal frame bars and lateral frame bars. The longitudinal frame bars extend in the axial direction of a camshaft. The lateral frame bars extend between the longitudinal frame bars. A bearing portion is arranged in each of the lateral frame bars to rotationally support the camshaft. Each lateral frame bar has a bolt hole to receive a bolt that is inserted through the bolt hole to fix the camshaft housing to a cylinder head body. The bolt hole extends through the lateral frame bar and is arranged on the outer side of the bearing portion in the longitudinal direction of the lateral frame bar. Each longitudinal frame bar has a vibration reducing portion. The cross-sectional area of the longitudinal frame bar gradually changes in the longitudinal direction of the longitudinal frame bar.

COVER FOR AUTOMOBILE ENGINE

A cover for an automobile engine covers a crank pulley and an auxiliary drive belt of an engine arranged in an engine room with the crank pulley and the auxiliary drive belt being in a posture facing a front direction of a vehicle body. The cover includes a reinforcing body that includes a fastening part attaching to the engine and is integrated with a sound-absorbing main body.

To secure detection accuracy of a temperature sensor in a general purpose engine. A general purpose engine includes an engine main body (21), an output shaft (22) that outputs a rotation force of the engine main body, a cooling fan (40) that is rotated and driven by the output shaft, a cooling cover (50) that is fixed to the engine main body to define a cooling air passage (CP) which guides cooling air generated by the cooling fan along an exterior wall (21e) of the engine main body, and a temperature sensor (60) that is fixed to the engine main body in a region away from the cooling air passage (CP). Accordingly, it is possible to measure a temperature of the engine main body with high accuracy and perform electronic control of fuel injection with high accuracy.

METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING AN ACOUSTIC PANEL BY WELDING

A method for manufacturing an acoustic panel by welding of at least two acoustic components made of thermoplastic material, a thermal gradient being applied on the acoustic components during the welding operation so as to apply a temperature higher than the glass transition or melting temperature of the material on the area to be welded and so as to apply a temperature lower than or equal to the geometric stabilization temperature of the material on the parts furthest from the area to be welded.

OIL PAN AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING OIL PAN

In an oil pan, an outer surface of an oil pan body is covered with urethane foam material. The outer surface of the oil pan body is cation treated to be a surface-treated layer, and the urethane foam material is adhered to the outer surface of the oil pan body by the surface-treated layer without any gaps therebetween. The oil pan further includes an undulating portion formed on the outer surface of the oil pan body and undulating in an inward and outward direction. The surface-treated layer is formed on the undulating portion and the urethane foam material is adhered to the undulating portion without any gaps therebetween. The undulating portion includes a bowl-shaped recess recessed into a bowl shape toward an inner side of the oil pan body and the urethane foam material is adhered to an entire inner surface of the bowl-shaped recess without any gaps therebetween.
