The method also includes generating an executable control for a user interface based at least in part on the user data, and providing the executable control, via a display of the exercise machine, while the user is participating in the exercise class. In such a method, the executable control is operable to modify a parameter of the exercise machine while the user is participating in the exercise class.

The boom has an elongate rigid body that is attached at a proximal end via a pivot mount to the base such that the boom is able to pivot about an axis with respect to the base between a rowing configuration wherein the boom is horizontal, and a climbing configuration wherein the boom extends upwardly. A seat element is slidably mounted above the boom when the boom is in the rowing configuration. A row handle is attached to a row transmission system that includes a row cable that extends to a row resistance device. The boom has a pair of climb handles and a pair of climb pedals, each slidably mounted on the boom, for performing climbing exercises. A climber transmission system connects the climb handles and climb pedals to a climber resistance device.

A workout bench is disclosed that has rectanguloid front and rear containers each connected with two opposing rectanguloid side containers therebetween. The front and rear containers are least partially open. Each side container is open at an outward, lateral side thereof. The containers are each flush at their top, bottom, and lateral sides. The containers each define an internal storage volume therein, with the front and rear containers accessible from their partially open top sides. The workout bench also has a benchtop pivotally fixed with the front container, with a selectively movable brace for holding the benchtop at one of a plurality of predefined angular positions with respect to the top sides of the containers. A plurality of feet project away from the bottom sides of at least two of the containers.
