Door thrust reverser comprising a deflector for redirecting an air flow in the upstream direction
A thrust reverser including a stationary structure, a lower door and an upper door. This reverser includes at least one deflector configured to be able to redirect forward from the stationary structure a portion of fluid exiting the reverser according to a trajectory oriented towards a lateral opening extending between the stationary structure and the upper door. Such a deflector makes it possible to improve the control of the air current lines acting on a tail unit and in particular on a control surface of an aircraft equipped with such a reverser when the latter is in thrust reversal configuration, thereby making it possible to improve the controllability of this aircraft.
Actively controlled cooling air exhaust door on an aircraft engine nacelle
An assembly is provided for a turbofan engine. This turbofan engine assembly includes a cowling, a door and an actuation mechanism configured to actuate movement of the door in response to receiving a control signal. The cowling is configured to form a compartment at least partially around a case of the turbofan engine. The cowling includes an exhaust port that is fluidly coupled with the compartment. The door is configured to at least partially open and close the exhaust port. This variable exhaust port may be opened in case increased airflow is needed through the compartment, such as when increased cooling airflow is needed through an environmental air precooler that cools compressed air for the aircraft cabin and the precooler exhausts its cooling air into the compartment.
Assembly Comprising a Nacelle Panel and a Member Forming a Ball
An assembly including a nacelle panel of an aircraft engine, the nacelle panel including an outer skin, an inner skin and a central layer interposed between the outer skin and the inner skin, and the nacelle panel having a free inner enclosure contiguous with the outer skin, and a member forming a link including one or more degrees of freedom, the member being attached to the nacelle panel solely by one or both of the outer skin and the inner skin, and the member extending facing the free inner enclosure.

AIRCRAFT PROPULSION ASSEMBLY EQUIPPED WITH A THRUST-REVERSING DEVICE COMPRISING AT LEAST ONE INFLATABLE BARRIER, AND AIRCRAFT COMPRISING AT LEAST ONE SUCH PROPULSION ASSEMBLY
An aircraft propulsion assembly equipped with a thrust-reversing device which includes at least one lateral aperture, passing through the nacelle of the propulsion assembly, configured to be in an open state or a closed state, at least one inflatable barrier configured to be in a deflated state in which the barrier does not protrude into an annular duct channeling a flow of air and an inflated state in which the barrier, substantially rigid or semi-rigid, is deployed and extends across the annular duct to deflect at least a part of the flow of air toward the lateral aperture, and at least one supply system configured to supply the inflatable barrier with fluid. An aircraft is provided which includes at least one such propulsion assembly.

Gas turbine engine with reversible fan
A gas turbine engine having a forward thrust mode and a reverse thrust mode is provided. The gas turbine engine includes a variable pitch fan configured for generating forward thrust in the forward thrust mode of the engine and reverse thrust in the reverse thrust mode of the engine. The engine also includes a fan cowl surrounding the variable pitch fan, wherein the fan cowl forms a bypass duct for airflow generated by the fan. The fan cowl includes an aft edge that defines a physical flow area of the bypass duct, and a deflection device configured for deflecting airflow near the aft edge, wherein the deflection device is configured for operation in the reverse thrust mode of the engine. The physical flow area of the bypass duct at the aft edge remains the same in the forward thrust mode of the engine and in the reverse thrust mode of the engine.

THRUST REVERSAL ON AIRCRAFT FUSELAGE WITH A WING PROFILE
An aircraft includes a fuselage having a wing profile. An apparatus for thrust reversal is disposed on the tail of the aircraft. Air feed takes place from the outside, by way of a braking flap with an air intake channel and/or from a propelling machine.
MOVEABLE EXHAUST PLUG
An exhaust section of a gas turbine engine includes an exhaust plug defining a plurality of exhaust plug apertures circumferentially spaced from each other. Also included is an exhaust nozzle radially offset from the exhaust plug defining an exhaust pathway between the exhaust plug and the exhaust nozzle. Further included is an exhaust plug liner having a non-uniform outer surface axially aligned with the exhaust plug apertures. The exhaust plug liner is rotatable relative to exhaust plug between a first position and a second position to selectively change a cross-sectional area of the exhaust pathway during thrust reversal operation to increase an amount of reverse thrust.
