AIRCRAFT GAS TURBINE ENGINE NACELLE
An aircraft gas turbine engine nacelle comprises a thrust reversal arrangement. The thrust reversal arrangement comprises at least first and second circumferentially spaced fixed thrust reverser cascade boxes each comprising a plurality of thrust reverser vanes configured to direct air forwardly and circumferentially and at least one inter-leaved translating circumferential turning vane configured to direct air in a direction having a circumferential component. The circumferential turning vane is moveable from a stowed position provided between the first and second circumferentially spaced thrust reverser cascade boxes, and a deployed position axially rearwardly of the thrust reverser cascade boxes.
Actuation system for a translating variable area fan nozzle
A variable area fan nozzle assembly for a turbofan engine includes a nacelle having an aft edge and a translating thrust reverser sleeve with a trailing edge. The thrust reverser sleeve is movably disposed aft of the nacelle's aft edge and is movable between a forward position and an aft position. A translating fan nozzle having a forward edge is movably disposed behind the trailing edge, and is movable between a stowed position and a deployed position. An upstream bypass flow exit is defined between the trailing edge and the forward edge when the fan nozzle is in the deployed position. An extendable actuation system is configured to move the fan nozzle between the stowed position and the deployed position.
Reverse Thrust Engine
A propulsion device that defines a central axis and a circumferential direction is provided. The propulsion device may include a core engine and a core casing. The core engine may include an engine shaft extending along the central axis. The core casing may have an inner surface and an outer surface. The core casing may extend along the circumferential direction about the propulsion device, as well as along the central axis from a forward end to an aft end. The core casing may define a primary air flowpath having an annular inlet at the forward end and an exhaust at the aft end. The core casing may further define a reverse flow passage extending from an outer surface entrance to an inner surface exit.
Thrust reverser compression rod engagement apparatus
A compression rod engagement apparatus is provided that includes an engagement feature, an engagement feature pin, and a mounting member. The engagement feature is attached to the engagement feature pin. The engagement feature pin is engaged with the mounting member in a home position and axial travel of the engagement feature pin along a lengthwise axis away from the home position in either axial direction is resisted by at least one spring force.

The engagement feature is attached to the engagement feature pin. The engagement feature pin is engaged with the mounting member in a home position and axial travel of the engagement feature pin along a lengthwise axis away from the home position in either axial direction is resisted by at least one spring force.
AIRCRAFT TURBOJET ENGINE COMPRISING TWO THRUST REVERSER MODULES
A turbojet engine with two thrust reverser modules. Each module includes an outer casing, an inner casing and a securing system for securing the inner casing to the outer casing which comprises first and second hoods. A housing between the hoods has a securing wall, a seal with a sausage secured to the securing wall, and a crusher rigidly secured to the second hood and arranged so as to crush the sausage towards the securing wall when the second hood goes from the spaced-apart position to the close-together position. Therefore, the sausage moves in the longitudinal direction, thus limiting shearing of the seal and transverse movements owing to the manufacturing and assembly tolerances and the movements in flight.
Turbofan engine comprising a set of rotatable blades for blocking off the bypass flow duct and redirecting the air flow
An engine including a motor and a nacelle and a duct between the nacelle and the motor. The nacelle includes a fixed structure, a mobile assembly that is mobile between an advanced position and a retracted position to define a window between the duct and the outside, and a plurality of blades that are mobile in rotation between a stowed position and a deployed position, each one extending on either side of its axis of rotation with a first arm and a second arm. In the stowed position, the first arm is outside the duct and the second arm is inside the nacelle, and where, in the deployed position, the first arm is across the duct and the second arm projects out of the nacelle. With such blades, the flow of air is optimally directed towards the front without it being necessary to provide cascades.

TURBOJET COMPRISING A NACELLE WITH AN AIR INTAKE FOR PROMOTING A REVERSE THRUST PHASE
An aircraft turbojet engine comprising a fan configured to provide a reverse thrust and a nacelle comprising an air intake, the air intake comprising at least one circulation duct in the annular cavity opening, on the one hand, at the air intake lip and, on the other hand, at the inner wall and/or the outer wall so as to promote a reverse thrust phase, the air intake comprising at least one cover member mounted to move between a covered position, in which the cover member closes the circulation duct at the air intake lip and an uncovered position, in which the cover member opens the circulation duct at the air intake lip.
