Improved exercise techniques in a more sanitary environment are achieved by providing a personal exercise mat that lays flat when used, can be easily cleaned between uses, and is easily stored and transported. The mat is adapted to be detachably coupled to handholds and footholds that are employed when the mat is in use and stored separately from the mat in a single carrying case with the mat.

A passive-type treadmill is disclosed which includes a closed-loop belt rolling around two spaced apart rollers for providing a running platform, a first and a second handrail parallel to each other and extended upward angling to a surface of the closed-loop belt at larger than 45 degrees, and a towel rack having at least a first and a second clip for stretching a towel between the first and the second handrail.

A portable device for cleaning golf balls and golf clubs is provided. The device may include a hollow, impermeable housing and an impermeable lid. Situated on the lid beneath the lid inner surface is a plunger with a saddle in which to rest a golf ball. The device also contains a plurality of cleaning mechanisms disposed within an inner cavity of the housing and arranged to form a channel, so that when a user submerges and reciprocates the plunger, the golf balls are cleaned. The device may further include a spray nozzle to dispense cleaning solution onto golf clubs. A tee holder, divot fixer holder, and towel holder may also be coupled to the exterior of the housing. The device is preferably sized and shaped to be disposed within or coupled to a golf bag or golf cart.

A portable game includes a playing surface having a first portion and a second portion, where the first portion has at least one container. Each container has an opening and is rotatably connected to the first portion, and each container is configured to rotate between a scoring position and a closed position. The opening of each container is configured to receive a game piece via the playing surface when that container is in the scoring position but not when that container is in the closed position. The portable game also includes one or more border rails that at least partially surround at least a portion of the playing surface.

A treadmill includes a frame. The frame includes a first side member, a second side member, and a cross-member coupled to and extending between the first side member and the second side member. The treadmill also includes a belt coupled to the frame and configured to rotate about the cross-member. The device may be used in many different applications including in recreation games, drinking games, target practice, and fighting practice.

A treadmill includes a frame. A running belt is coupled to the frame so that the running belt is adapted for rotation relative to the frame. At least one sensor is adapted for collecting parameter information regarding the experience of a user of the treadmill. The parameter information is selected from the group consisting of the user's heart rate, total expended calories, stride length, stride force, cadence, pace, distance, resistance level, incline level, carver count, carver cadence, step count, ground contact time, relative position within a race, and relative position on the treadmill. The treadmill also includes at least one light source that is adapted to selectively communicate information to an instructor relating to the parameter.

A training apparatus with swivel step plates and programmable music built in for a dance lesson and workout on the training apparatus. The step plate has a movement mechanism that reciprocates with a vertical component and a longitudinal component. The step plate is attached to the movement mechanism such that the step plate has a pivoting action about a vertical axis that is orthogonal to the orientation of a top surface of the step plate.
