Cordless treadmill
A cordless treadmill including a frame, a belt system, and a drop-in cartridge is disclosed. The cartridge includes a plurality of staggered rollers configured to provide tactile feedback to the user. The frame is adapted to receive the belt system and the cartridge as they are lowered into the frame, and the frame is adapted to place the belt of the belt system into tension as the belt system is lowered into the frame. An integrated flywheel generator system provides smooth operation of the treadmill and generates electricity to power additional systems.
Torque overdrive stair climber
Disclosed herein is a stair climber that includes a frame having a base, an upper axle and a lower axle, and steps revolvably coupled to the upper axle and the lower axle. The stair climber also includes an electric brake mechanism operating in generative mode and coupled with the steps and configured to provide a variable resistive force. Also included is a controller that receives an indication of a selected exercise mode from a user that includes a first speed, a second speed, and a difficulty level. The controller also balances a load, in a learning mode, on the steps based a user's weight at the first speed, and controls, in response to the user applying an additional load to the steps via a rail system, the electric brake mechanism to apply the difficulty level of the selected exercise mode and prevent the steps from exceeding the second speed.
Apparatus and associated methods for determining exercise settings
An apparatus comprising means configured to: determine, based on data representative of a current health state of a first user of a first exercise apparatus, settings for one or more exercise variables of the first exercise apparatus, wherein the settings are tailored to the first user's current health state; and provide the determined settings for configuration of the first exercise apparatus.
DIGITALLY ENHANCED EXERCISE SYSTEM AND METHOD
A digitally enhanced exercise system includes a proximal section comprising a first structural member and a platform; a distal section comprising a second structural member and an interface, wherein the interface is attached to the second structural member by a mount; a spine that is spans between the first structural member and the second structural member; a carriage configured to move in a single axis along the spine; a tension system, wherein the tension system is capable of resisting the carriage from moving; a sensor array arranged so as to detect changes in weight on the carriage; and a processor. Other aspects are also described and claimed.
Motorized treadmill with motor braking mechanism and methods of operating same
A treadmill includes a frame; a running belt configured to move relative the frame; and a motor coupled to the running belt. The motor is operable in a plurality of user controlled operating modes. In a first operating mode, the force of rotation of the running belt is provided by a user of the treadmill. In a second operating mode, the motor applies a desired braking force to resist rotation of the running belt. In a third operating mode, the motor applies a torque output to the running belt based on a force exerted on the running belt by a user of the treadmill.
Electro-stimulation type indoor bicycle
An electrical stimulation indoor bike includes a stationary bicycle; an electrical stimulation unit connected to the stationary bicycle either with wire or without wire, and including an electrode pad for applying electrical stimulation to a user's body; and a control unit to control electrical stimulation of the electrical stimulation unit in accordance with an exercise mode of the stationary bicycle. By the electrical stimulation indoor bike, a variety of electrical stimulation according to pedal movement is applied to a body through an indoor bike connected with a low-frequency stimulator, thereby maximizing exercise effect.
BICYCLE SIMULATOR AND BLOCKCHAIN NETWORK SYSTEM USING SAME
Provided is a bicycle simulator including: a base portion; a frame support portion connected to the base portion to be movable in one direction and supporting a frame of a mounted bicycle connecting a front wheel and a rear wheel of the bicycle; a first sensor configured to sense a moving distance and a moving direction of the frame support portion in the one direction; a communication circuit configured to receive the moving distance and the moving direction of the frame support portion sensed by the first sensor; a processor configured to generate a bicycle avatar of which a traveling direction changes according to the moving distance and the moving direction of the frame support portion transmitted from the communication circuit; and a display configured to display a traveling state of the bicycle avatar.
Workout Generation System and Method
A computer-implemented method, computer program product and computing system for defining one or more physical identifiers for a user; defining one or more physical limitations for the user; defining workout criteria for the user; and generating an online exercise routine for the user based, at least in part, upon the one or more physical identifiers, the one or more physical limitations and the workout criteria.
Exercise equipment
A control system for controlling one or more of a plurality of exercise apparatuses across a network comprises a processor; a communication subsystem configured to communication with the plurality of exercise apparatuses across the network; and memory for storing information about one or more users. The information comprises, for each user, identity information, including a user identifier, and a resistance level indicator. Upon receipt of a user identifier from an exercise apparatus in the network, the processor is configured to identify the resistance level indicator stored in the memory corresponding to the user identifier, and cause the communication subsystem to transmit to the exercise apparatus the resistance level indicator for that user. Upon receipt of a performance parameter of a user from an exercise apparatus in the network, the processor is configured to determine whether or not to modify the resistance level indicator of that user stored in the memory based on the received performance parameter.
