The method includes administering to a subject in need thereof an effective amount of a powdered food composition, obtained from lemon containing between 1% and 30% (w/w) of eriocitrin, in a dose of eriocitrin between 5 and 35 mg per day.
COCONUT FLOUR COMPOSITION AND METHOD FOR MAKING PASTAS AND PIZZAS
A method of making a flour for pizzas and pastas has the steps of extracting coconut water from a coconut, drying the meat of the coconut at a temperature between 4° C. in 10° C. until the meat is dry, and crushing and grinding the dry meat so as to produce a gluten-free flour. In order to make a pizza, the coconut base flour is mixed with an approximately equal proportion of water, kneaded and heated. The flour for the pizza will include approximately 51.5% of the gluten-free coconut flour.

Also provided are powders prepared by the methods of the invention. The powders can be included in various food, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and antimicrobial compositions.
Method for producing a preferably vegan food product particulate, preferably vegan food product particulate, and preferably vegan final food product
A method for producing a vegan food product particulate (X, Y) based on almond flour, as a recipe component or directly as a final food product, includes: a) providing partially de-oiled almond flour having between 5 and 20% by weight fat and between 43 and 57% by weight protein, b) providing water, c) producing a liquid mixture of the partially de-oiled almond flour and the water, the percentage by weight of the almond flour being between 1 and 40% by weight and of water being between 60 and 99% by weight, d) heating the liquid mixture to a temperature between 72° C. and 138° C. and obtaining a heated liquid, e) high-pressure homogenizing the heated liquid in a hot high-pressure homogenization step and obtaining a heated hot high-pressure homogenized liquid, f) cooling the heated hot high-pressure homogenized liquid.
SELF-DIGESTED FOOD PRODUCT DERIVED FROM FRUIT
[Problem] There exists a need for salt-free/sugar-free Rosaceae fruits, such as apricots and plums, extracts thereof, and products utilizing these, that have good storage properties.
[Solution] By bringing about self-digestion of fruit at 65° C. or below, preferably at 45 to 60° C., the organic acid concentration is improved, and solubilization of pectin is promoted, making possible the manufacture of salt-free self-digested fruits and extracts thereof having good physical properties and storage properties, as well as making possible the manufacture of salt-free processed food products, cosmetics, or fermented food products, utilizing salt-free seasonings containing comparable concentrations of pectin and organic acids, or these salt-free self-digested fruits and salt-free self-digested fruit extracts.
Composition and method for treating a hangover
A method for treating a hangover, comprising of administering to a subject in need a powdered or liquid juice product containing juiced ingredients of red onion, cucumber, and romaine lettuce. Other embodiments contain onion, cucumber, and one or more of any other leafy green vegetable. The components of the applicant's invention create a novel synergistic effect because the combination creates a greater effect than the sum of the effects of the components separately.
NUTRITIONAL SUPPLEMENT TO EASE SIDE EFFECTS OF CANCER TREATMENT THERAPIES
A food supplement for helping alleviate the side effects of cancer and cancer treatments is disclosed which is formed from a mixture including at least one edible oil, at least one chopped fruit or fruit paste; at least one ground nut or seed meal or ground nut or seed butter; and honey. The food supplement has a volume of less than three cubic inches and provides at least 100 kilocalories of energy, making it small in volume but with a high energy density. The food supplement can have a high fat content which can make the food supplement moist and easy to eat while providing the necessary calories need for patients combatting cancer and undergoing cancer treatments who often have a severely reduced appetite.
HOMOGENIZATION APPARATUS FOR PEPPER RAW MATERIALS
