High-pressure pump
A high-pressure pump is configured to pressurize fuel. The high-pressure pump includes a relief valve device that is placed in a relief passage, which has one end part connected to a discharge passage in a housing while another end part of the relief passage is configured to be communicated with a suction passage in the housing. The discharge passage is configured to conduct the fuel, which is pressurized in and discharged from a pressurizing chamber. The relief valve device is configured to enable or limit a flow of the fuel between one side of the relief passage, at which the discharge passage is located, and another side of the relief passage, which is opposite to the discharge passage, at a valve opening time or a valve closing time of the relief valve device.

Engine Device
An engine device having a flywheel housing in which a flywheel that is rotated integrally with a crankshaft is accommodated on one side portion of a cylinder block, in which the cylinder block is integrally formed with housing bracket portions each protruding in a direction away from the crankshaft from each of opposite side portions of the cylinder block extending along a crankshaft axial direction, the housing bracket portions protruding from end portions of the opposite side portions close to the one side portion, and a space surrounded by the one side portion, the housing bracket portions, and the flywheel housing constitutes a gear case for accommodating therein a gear train.

Outboard motor
An outboard motor includes an engine, a fuel tank, a fuel pathway, a fuel pump, and a controller. The engine includes a fuel injector. The fuel tank includes an internal space in which fuel is stored. The fuel pathway is connected to the fuel injector and the fuel tank. The fuel pump is disposed in the fuel pathway, and supplies the fuel from the fuel tank to the fuel injector. The controller controls the fuel pump. The controller determines whether or not a start condition, indicating that air has entered the fuel pathway, is satisfied. The controller is configured or programmed to execute an air releasing control to open the fuel injector and drive the fuel pump when the start condition is satisfied.

Fuel injection pump
A fuel injection pump includes a cam rotating with a camshaft, a tappet reciprocating in response to rotation of the cam, a cylinder, a plunger, and a thrust washer. The thrust washer is located between the cam and a casing housing the camshaft at both ends of the cam in an axial direction of the cam. The tappet includes a tappet body, a roller, a supporting member, and a contact surface formed at an outer peripheral part of the tappet. The thrust washer includes a rotation restricting part that protrudes toward the tappet over a maximum lift position. The rotation restricting part restricts rotation of the tappet relative to a center axis of the tappet body by being contact with the contact surface.
