Fuel supply device of motorcycle
A fuel supply device for a motorcycle having a fuel pump disposed on the outside of a fuel tank for saving with respect to an installation space and for making a fuel pipe connecting the fuel tank and the fuel pump shorter. A fuel supply device for a motorcycle includes a single main frame extending rearwardly from a head pipe; a fuel tank supported on the main frame; an internal combustion engine; a fuel injection device attached to the internal combustion engine; and a fuel supply portion having a fuel pump by which the fuel is supplied to the fuel injection device via a fuel pipe. The fuel pump is provided on the outside of the fuel tank and attached to the main frame in such a manner that an axial line in a direction in which to connect the fuel pipe is aligned along the main frame.
Slanted Loading for Line Replaceable Multipoint Fuel Injector Arrays
A system includes an engine case for a gas turbine engine defined around a longitudinal axis. A plurality of access openings are defined through the engine case. A combustor is housed in the space inside the engine case. The inner annular wall of the combustor includes a first rail on an upstream end thereof with a radially outward opening slot. The outer annular wall of the combustor includes a second rail on an upstream end thereof. A plurality of circumferentially spaced apart dome liners extending from the first rail to the second rail. Each dome liner extends tangentially in a direction oblique relative to a radius extending from the longitudinal axis. A plurality of multipoint fuel injector components are assembled across the first and second rails to from a combustor dome together with the dome liners.
INJECTOR SET-UP HAVING A THERMAL PROTECTION SLEEVE
An injector device includes a liquid injector for injecting a liquid and a thermal protection sleeve. The liquid injector is situated at least partially in the thermal protection sleeve. The thermal protection sleeve includes a base region having an opening. A spray orifice of the liquid injector is situated near the opening. The thermal protection sleeve includes a first casing region positioned on a first diameter and a second casing region connected to the base region and positioned on a second diameter that is less than the first diameter.
PROTECTIVE STRUCTURE FOR FUEL PUMP
A protective structure for a fuel pump includes a protector including a connecting wall, a first protective wall, and a second protective wall. The first protective wall and the second protective wall are disposed outside the fuel pump assembled to an internal combustion engine. A standing surface of the second protective wall on a side opposite to a second base end surface in a standing direction of the second protective wall includes a curved surface that is concave on the second base end surface side and that becomes closer to the second base end surface side as the curved surface becomes farther from the first protective wall.
NOZZLE COMBUSTION SHIELD
An apparatus and method are disclosed for an injector assembly including an injector tip having a prechamber, such as a permanent, passive prechamber (PPPC), and a nozzle combustion shield (NCS) to mitigate pre-ignition events, such as knocking, caused by overheating of the prechamber. The NCS has a thermal conductivity greater than the injector tip. The NCS optionally includes a barrel forming a slip fit with the cylinder head bore and forming a press fit with the injector tip. The NCS also optionally includes a brim to form a combustion seal with a cylinder head. As the spark plug ignites a fuel charge in the prechamber, heat is absorbed into the injector tip, flows into the NCS barrel, out of the NCS brim, and into the cylinder head for cooling via a cooling jacket.
ASSEMBLY CONSISTING OF A CYLINDER HEAD AND A FUEL INJECTOR
An assembly of a cylinder head and a fuel injector with an injector tip for an internal combustion engine with at least one combustion chamber, wherein the fuel injector at the end facing a combustion chamber of the internal combustion engine is at least partially surrounded by a heat shield, wherein in the region of the heat shield a heat dissipation device is provided, through which heat can be dissipated from the combustion chamber of the internal combustion engine, wherein the heat shield surrounds the fuel injector as far as the injector tip, wherein the heat shield is designed as a tapering collar towards the injector tip and is integrated into an injector sleeve or into the cylinder head.

Groove injector nozzle combustion shield
An injector seal assembly including a nozzle combustion shield is disclosed, the thermally conductive component of the injector seal assembly defining at least one groove to allow fluid communication between the main combustion chamber and a gap defined by a fuel injector and the injector seal assembly to facilitate the prevention of corrosion of the components.
HEAT SHIELDING STRUCTURE FOR INTAKE SYSTEM FOR ENGINE OF MOTORCYCLE
A cylinder of an engine of a motorcycle is tilted frontward. A throttle unit is provided above the cylinder, and a heat shielding sheet is provided between the cylinder and the throttle unit. The throttle unit includes a fuel injection device, and the heat shielding sheet extends between the fuel injection device and the cylinder.
NOZZLE COMBUSTION SHIELD AND SEALING MEMBER WITH IMPROVED HEAT TRANSFER CAPABILITIES
An injector combustion shield assembly comprising a bore configured to receive a fuel injector, the bore including a fluid opening in fluid communication with a fluid jacket and a fluid outlet positioned within an annular wall of the bore; and a valve positioned between the fluid jacket and the fluid opening and configured to selectively permit a fluid from the fluid jacket to enter the bore, the valve being movable between an open configuration to permit fluid flow from the fluid jacket into the bore via the fluid opening and a closed configuration to prevent fluid flow from the fluid jacket into the bore.
