Punchwrap
A punching bag that can transform into body armor for fighter training. In particular, the punching bag can be used as a heavy bag or body armor. The punching bag can be hung up from a support, strung up between an upper support and a lower support, or worn on a person.
Impact resistant headgear
A headgear apparatus is disclosed comprising a molded headgear apparatus which includes a cushioned core component to provide impact resistance during an activity. The headgear is configured to be low-profile to reduce the loss of vision caused by thick headgear which extends away from the face. The headgear may be molded to the facial contour of the user to provide complete protection from cuts, scrapes, swelling, and impact encountered in impact sports, such as martial arts, football, or other sports wherein impact to the head region is possible.
Interactive exercise and training system and method
A virtual reality (VR) system comprising a head-mounted display (HMD) and handheld controller set is enhanced to provide a more realistic end user VR experience, e.g., for boxing or other interactive training. In this approach, and in lieu of simply establishing a boundary area for the VR experience, the user also maps a position of a real-world object into a reference frame of the VR environment. This mapping is facilitated using the handheld controller itself, e.g., as positioned in a backwards-facing manner on the user's forearm. The real-world object is then simulated in the 3D VR environment as rendered by the VR HMD, and the user interacts with the real-world object (or its simulation) to provide a more enjoyable and useful interactive experience.
FIGHT GLOVE
A striking glove may comprise a wrist band; an inner glove for receiving a hand; an outer shell conforming generally to the inner glove; one or more padding layers positioned between the inner glove and the outer shell; and an internal support system between the inner glove and the outer shell. The internal support system comprises at least a first and a second channel disposed on the dorsal side of the glove, and a first strap and a second strap at least partially disposed within the first and second channels and configured in an overlapped and crossed configuration, wherein each of the first and the second strap is configured to be retained within and slide within the respective channel, and wherein ends of the first and second straps extend from a dorsal cavity between the inner glove and the outer shell to an exterior of the striking glove.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR CONTESTING AND DETERMINING THE VICTOR OF A COMBAT SPORT
A data collection and display system for use in a combat sport including: 1. A trunk protector for a combat sport participant, the trunk protector including: a. protective padding b. at least one impact sensor, c. at least one microprocessor integral with the protective padding, for collecting and analyzing data from the at least one impact sensor, d. at least one display area, integral with the trunk protector, for displaying information related to the combat sport and combat sport participant; and an energy based method for scoring combat sports.
Spring Impact Boxing Dummy
The Spring Impact Boxing Dummy is the only product of its kind that utilizes springs on a target to accurately depict a real life fighting experience to improve strike precision and exactitude. The disclosure is uniquely designed to resemble a human body and face and can be simply mounted onto any wall based on user preferences; therefore, providing users an effective means to train, burn calories in an effort to get in the best shape of their lives. A mount supports springs having a spring force set to a weight of a user of the boxing dummy. A frame is attached to the mount via the springs. The frame includes adjustable tracks for a height adjustment relative to the mount. The boxing dummy includes pads near a head and hands of the boxing dummy and is attached to the frame via the plates.
Punching bag having two sections
The punching bag having two sections is a physical training apparatus. The punching bag having two sections is adapted for use in training participants in combat sports. The punching bag having two sections presents a plurality of targets that are struck during training activities. The punching bag having two sections incorporates a plurality of punching bags, an internal fastener, and a harness. The internal fastener interconnect the plurality of punching bags. The harness limits the motion of a first punching bag selected from the plurality of punching bags relative to a second punching bag selected from the plurality of punching bags. Each of the plurality of punching bags forms a target selected from the plurality of targets.
STRIKING APPARATUS AND CONFIGURATIONS THEREOF
An exercise assembly has a target. A plurality of compression blades is coupled to the target. A mounting plate is coupled to the plurality of compression blades. A mounting chassis is coupled to the mounting plate securing the exercise assembly to a building structure, wherein the mounting chassis moves in a forward and rearward direction relative to the building structure. A plurality of fasteners cis coupled to the mounting chassis securing the exercise assembly to the building structure.
CYCLE AND COORDINATED PUNCH EXERCISE DEVICE AND METHODS
A punch-and-cycle exercise device is described. The device includes a cycling mechanism, a frame to which a punch pad is attached, a plurality of delineated target zones arranged on the punch pad, a sensor unit that includes an impact sensor, accelerometer, a single or plurality of hall effect sensors, each communicatively connected to the target zones. A control unit communicatively connects with the sensors, and a display. Gloves with built in magnets interact with the sensors and provide data to the controller to track user success at responding to illuminated and sequenced punching programs while cycling. Output can be displayed locally or on any paired device.
Muscle stimulation device
A vibration apparatus and an associated motor assembly attached to a glove or wrap for a body part to stimulate muscle activity in the area of application. The apparatus is capable of generating vibrations of various amplitudes at the same frequency or within a defined frequency range. The device causes vibration in a limb to which it is attached, such that muscle that are not normally utilized in a single range of motion activity are activated. The mechanism creating the vibration may an eccentric rotating mass vibration motor assembly attached to a glove or wrist support. Use of the device with fitness equipment provides an individual with the benefits associated with vibrational motion such as increased muscle use with a single exercise motion and increased muscle memory during use with sports activities.
