FUEL INJECTOR
A control valve for controlling the movement of a needle of a fuel injector includes a coil which is attached to a housing of the injector, which housing engages with an armature which can be moved between an open position and a closed position. The armature includes a magnetic plate, through the center of which a rod, which forms a valve piston, extends perpendicularly to the plate to a remote end. The piston slides into a bore in the injector housing, the movements of the armature and of the piston opening or closing channels in which pressurized fuel flows. The armature is provided with a device for quickly discharging the fuel which is captive between the coil and the plate.
Fuel injection valve
A sub out-orifice and an in-orifice are respectively formed in a low pressure passage and a high pressure passage of a fixed plate. A control valve is provided at an outlet port of the low pressure passage. In a normal control, the control valve starts its control-valve opening operation when a movable plate is in contact with the fixed plate. In an interval-shortening control, the control valve starts the control-valve opening operation at an earlier timing than that in the normal control, namely during a course in which a valve body is still in its valve-body closing operation.
Fuel Admission Valve for Pre-Chamber
A pre-chamber fuel admission valve includes a fuel inlet, a fuel outlet, an actuated valve, and a check valve. The fuel inlet receives a supply of a fuel. The fuel outlet delivers the fuel to a pre-chamber. The actuated valve is between and in fluid communication with the fuel inlet and the fuel outlet. The actuated valve controls a flow of the fuel from the fuel inlet to the fuel outlet. The check valve is biased in a closed position and between and in fluid communication with the actuated valve and the fuel outlet. The check valve is configured to open and allow the fuel to exit the fuel outlet in response to a fuel pressure exceeding a pre-chamber pressure plus a bias pressure, and the check valve is configured to close in response to the pre-chamber pressure plus the bias pressure exceeding the fuel pressure.
Leaschauer engine
An internal combustion engine designed to provide a Leaschauer Combustion Process including injecting processed pre-mist fuel into extreme air pressure compressed air in the main cylinder. The fuel injection moment is accurately controlled and timed to enable extreme high compression combustion, so that the engine is enabled to utilize low octane fuel without pre-detonation.
Device and method for metering a liquid into the exhaust tract of an internal combustion engine
The invention relates to a device and method for metering a liquid, in particular a fuel, into an exhaust gas tract of an internal combustion engine, wherein the device comprises at least one injection valve that can be closed by a closing member and that has cooling circuit for regulating the temperature in the injection valve, and wherein a throttle element is connected upstream of the injection valve to control, by closed loop or open loop, the quantity of a volume flow of the liquid through the injection valve, in particular through the cooling circuit of the injection valve, wherein the injection valve opens when the throttle element de-throttles the volume flow of the liquid to the injection valve.
