Aloe derived mineral supplement
A composition containing minerals from aloe rind, and more particularly to compositions containing minerals derived from aloe rind by ashing or fermentation, and methods of preparing and using the compositions is disclosed. Formulations can includes aloe rind minerals and one or more additional active on inactive ingredients, and can be suitable for topical or oral administration. Method of maintaining or improving tissue health, for example, maintaining or improving bone health, maintaining or improving cardiovascular health, or improving the appearance or texture of skin by administering the aloe rind minerals are also disclosed.

The present disclosure relates to a method of increasing an amount of a stilbenoid, and/or one or more compounds selected from the group consisting of TCA cycle metabolites, polyamine alkaloids, 4-aminobutyric acid, abscisic acid and salts thereof in a plant, the method comprising steps of: irradiating the plant, part, crushed material or cultured plant cell with light, wherein a fluence at a wavelength range of 275-295 nm is 50,000-2,500,000 μmol/m.sup.2, while at the same time a fluence at a wavelength range of 200-270 nm is less than 20% of the fluence at the wavelength range of 275-295 nm; and storing the irradiated plant, part, crushed material or cultured plant cell in a dark place for 1 day or more.

EDIBLE FOOD CONTAINERS AND METHOD FOR MAKING THE SAME
Embodiments include edible containers and an example method for making the edible containers. In one possible embodiment, a mixture of seeds, vegetables, fruits, spices, and water is blended to create a paste. The paste is then deposited onto a mold of the desired container shape, and smoothed to a consistent thickness. The mold and paste are then dehydrated, and the container separated from the mold. The container is then dehydrated further to a desired moisture content. The process may be automated by using a rotating table with the mold, and an automatic dispenser.
