Various embodiments may include a valve assembly for a fluid injection valve and a fluid injection valve including: a valve body with a longitudinal axis; a valve needle; and a preloaded calibration spring for biasing the valve needle. The calibration spring is preloaded by press-fitting a fixing region of the calibration spring with a fixing element, wherein the fixing region of the calibration spring extends from the upper part. The calibration spring comprises an adjustment cap arranged around the upper part of the spring element and press-fitted with the fixing element. A circumferential side wall of the adjustment cap provides the fixing region.

A dosing valve includes at least a valve housing with a duct, a valve body being movable in order to open and close the dosing valve and a spring exerting a spring force on the valve body and thus holding the valve body in a rest position. The spring is supported on at least one calibration body. The valve body, the spring and the at least one calibration body are disposed in the duct. The at least one calibration body is fastened in the valve housing at least by using a cohesive or material connection. A method for producing the dosing valve and a motor vehicle having the dosing valve are also provided.

A fuel injector includes a valve member for selectively preventing and permitting flow of fuel through a valve seat by selectively engaging and disengaging the valve seat, an actuator for selectively applying a force to the valve member in order to unseat the valve member from the valve seat, and a return spring which biases the valve member into contact with the valve seat when the actuator is not applying the force to the valve member. A calibration tube is positioned within the fuel tube and holds the return spring in compression so as to set a force on the return spring to achieve a desired dynamic flow of fuel through the fuel injector. The calibration tube includes at least one protrusion extending outward therefrom such that the protrusion engages the fuel tube, thereby creating a spring fit between the calibration tube and the fuel tube.

A gas fuel injector of an electromagnetic drive type includes a cylindrical main body in which a fuel passage is formed, an opening/closing valve configured to open and close the fuel passage, a solenoid configured to open the opening/closing valve, and a nozzle provided at a distal end portion of the main body. The opening/closing valve includes a valve body configured to reciprocate together with a plunger constituting the solenoid and a valve seat configured to come into contact with and be separated from the valve body. The plunger is fixed to a retainer provided on an upstream side of the opening/closing valve. The retainer is installed between a closing spring configured to bias the plunger in a valve closing direction and an adjustment spring configured to bias the plunger in a valve opening direction.
