FUEL INJECTION VALVE
A fuel injection valve. The fuel injection valve has a support ring is provided on an inlet connection, which engages under the sealing ring on the inlet side. A plastic overmolding forms at least part of a valve housing. The support ring engaging under the sealing ring is positioned on the fuel injection valve in such a way that it rests directly on an upper end face of the plastic overmolding facing the sealing ring, so that the axial support of the sealing ring is provided indirectly via the plastic overmolding. The fuel injection valve is suitable, in particular, for the direct injection of fuel into a combustion chamber of a mixture-compressing external spark-ignition combustion engine.
Fuel injector
A fuel injector having an improved sealing of an intake nozzle with respect to the receiving opening of a fuel distribution rail. A support ring, which engages with the sealing ring on the intake side, is provided at the intake nozzle. The support ring includes a planar underside for resting on a shoulder of the intake nozzle and a V-shaped contact surface facing the sealing ring. The support ring, which is acted on by the sealing ring, is provided with the V-shaped conical contact surface for the sealing ring that ensures that in the case of increased pressures, a minor radial escape of the support ring is made possible to the radial inside and outside and thus radial gaps and an extruding of the sealing ring into same are prevented.

Hermetically sealed stator coil
A stator coil assembly is provided comprising: a stator having a stator core; a cover positioned within the stator core; a top section coupled to the cover to define an interior region, the top section including a pair of protrusions, each protrusion having a bore extending therethrough; a bobbin disposed within the interior region; a plurality of coil windings wrapped around the bobbin; a pair of lead wires, each lead wire extending through a corresponding protrusion bore and connecting to the coil windings within the interior region; and a pair of hermetic seals, each hermetic seal surrounding a corresponding lead wire within a protrusion bore to hermetically seal the interior region.
Injector closed loop control
An electrical connector includes two lateral mounting bush. A knock sensor which delivers data representative of the operation of a fuel injector is integrally overmoulded in one of the mounting bush. The knock sensor includes a piezoelectric member arranged between a base member and a seismic member.
Component, in particular fuel line or fuel distributor, and fuel injection system
A component, which can be in the form of a fuel line or fuel distributor, is used for a fuel injection system, which is used for injecting fuel or a mixture of fuel and water having a variable water content. The component has a main body on which is provided a high-pressure inlet and at least one high-pressure outlet, the fuel, respectively the mixture being passable from the high-pressure inlet through an inner space of the main body to the least one high-pressure outlet, and an insertion member being configured in the inner space. The insertion member is at least partially made of at least a material having a modulus of compression specified to at least substantially correspond to or be lower than that of the fuel, respectively the mixture and/or lower than 30 GPa.
Fuel pressure regulator
A fuel pressure regulator includes a fuel inlet; a fuel outlet; a seating surface; and a valve member assembly. The valve member assembly includes a poppet and also includes a sealing member which is made of an elastomer material and which is annular in shape and including a sealing member surface. The sealing member is supported by the poppet. The valve member assembly is moveable between 1) a closed position in which the sealing member surface engages the seating surface, thereby preventing fuel flow from the fuel inlet to the fuel outlet and 2) an open position in which the sealing member surface is spaced apart from the seating surface, thereby allowing fuel flow from the fuel inlet to the fuel outlet.
Electronically controlled fuel injector
Disclosed are example embodiments of a fuel injection device having a plunger that moves at a predetermined reciprocating motion from an initial position, the fuel injection device includes: an electromagnetic coil; a tubular bobbin within the electromagnetic coil, wherein the electromagnetic coil is configured to move the tubular bobbin when energized; a fuel intake channel; and an inlet check valve disposed along a fuel pathway of the fuel intake channel, the inlet check valve configured to allow fuel to flow through and to a pressurization chamber, wherein the inlet check valve is a normally open valve.

Fuel injector with a locating pin, internal combustion engine using the same, and method
A fuel injector includes a nozzle body to be inserted into a fuel injector receiving bore along a nozzle body axis; a valve housing; and a locating pin extending from the valve housing along a locating pin axis. The locating pin axis is eccentric to the nozzle body axis. The locating pin has a width in a first direction radially relative to the nozzle body axis and through the locating pin axis and a length in a second direction perpendicular to the width such that the width is less than the length. The locating pin includes a first crush rib and a second crush rib which are diametrically opposed at the length of the locating pin and such that the first crush rib and the second crush rib plastically deform when inserted into the locating bore, thereby preventing rotational movement of the fuel injector about the nozzle body axis.
