A valve for metering highly pressurized fluid, having an inlet connector that can be placed into a connection socket of a fluid supply line, and a sealing assembly situated on the inlet connector, the sealing assembly having an elastically deformable sealing ring and a support ring made of plastic, which sealing assembly is supported on a radial support shoulder present on the inlet connector and seals against the connection socket. To prevent radial gaps between the support ring on the one hand and the inlet connector and/or the connection socket on the other hand, into which gaps the sealing ring extrudes under high pressure and becomes damaged, the support ring situated between the sealing ring and the support shoulder is made of an elastically deformable plastic material.

Fuel injector arrangement

A fuel injector arrangement for supplying fuel into a cylinder of an internal combustion engine. The fuel injector arrangement includes a fuel injector and a sealing ring which is arranged around the circumference of the fuel injector. The sealing ring is located between a fuel inlet and/or outlet of the fuel injector located nearest to an injector tip of the fuel injector and the injector tip, wherein the sealing ring has an asymmetrical cross section with a narrow end extending towards the injector tip and a wider end extending away from the injector tip. The wider end has a recess therein creating two legs with a space there between.

Valve Assembly for an Injection Valve and Injection Valve

Some embodiments include: a valve body; a valve needle; a calibration spring biasing the needle to close a fluid outlet; an armature to actuate the needle; and an armature stopper comprising an armature support, a circumferential side wall, and a circumferential clamping portion. The armature stopper is coaxial with the valve needle below the armature, facing the armature and providing a stop for the armature in the closing direction. The clamping portion includes a circumferential gutter formed by a base portion, an inner wall and an outer wall. The inner wall is part of the circumferential side wall with a smaller radial extension than the outer wall and is closer to the valve needle. The outer wall extends circumferentially around the inner wall to form a press-fit area for press-fitting the armature stopper into the valve body.

Nozzle plate for fuel injection device

In a nozzle plate of the present invention, a part of fuel flowing out from a fuel injection port of a fuel injection device is atomized by colliding with an interference body, is rapidly bent in a flowing direction, and collides with the fuel that is flowing straight through a nozzle hole and an orifice to make the fuel that flows straight through the nozzle hole and the orifice turbulent. The orifice includes a corner portion which is defined by an outer edge portion of the interference body and has a pointed shape without roundness at a part of an opening edge. The corner portion makes an end portion of a liquid film of the fuel passing through the orifice into a pointed shape for ease of atomization by friction with air.
