FUEL INJECTOR NOZZLE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR THE SAME
A fuel injector and a nozzle for a fuel injector is provided. The nozzle includes at least one spray hole that is formed through a hardened nozzle body. The nozzle body is hardened again after forming the at least one spray hole to hardened the nozzle body along the at least one spray hole.
Cam follower roller device with reinforced tappet body
The cam follower roller device provides a tappet housing extending along an axis, a pin mounted on the tappet housing and a roller mounted on the pin. The tappet housing includes a main body provided inside which the roller is mounted and with a recess delimited axially by a radial portion of the body. The tappet housing further provides at least one stiffening insert mounted in axial contact with the radial portion of the main body.
Fuel system component mounting assembly with retention member
A mounting assembly for a fuel system component with an attachment bracket includes an upper isolation member; an upper isolation member retainer which captures the upper isolation member axially between the upper isolation member and the attachment bracket; a lower isolation member; a lower isolation member retainer which captures the lower isolation member axially between the lower isolation member the attachment bracket; and a retention member extending from the lower isolation member and having a retention member first end and a retention member second end such that the retention member first end is fixed to the lower isolation member retainer and such that the upper isolation member retainer is captured axially between the attachment bracket and the retention member second end.
Activated carbon fiber sheet for motor vehicle canister
A problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide a new form of adsorbent suitable for a motor vehicle canister. An activated carbon fiber sheet satisfies one or two or more of conditions for indices, such as a specific surface area, a pore volume of pores having a given pore diameter, and a sheet density. An embodiment, for example, may have: a specific surface area ranging from 1400 to 2300 m.sup.2/g; a pore volume ranging from 0.20 to 0.70 cm.sup.3/g for pores having pore diameters of more than 0.7 nm and 2.0 nm or less; an abundance ratio R.sub.0.7/2.0, which is a ratio of a pore volume of micropores having pore diameters of 0.7 nm or less occupied in a pore volume of micropores having pore diameters of 2.0 nm or less, ranging from 5% to less than 25%, and a sheet density ranging from 0.030 to 0.200 g/cm.sup.3.
Roller for a roller plunger of a high pressure fuel pump, roller plunger, high pressure fuel pump, and internal combustion engine
The present disclosure relates to internal combustion engines and the teachings may be applied to a roller for a roller plunger of a high pressure fuel pump, to a roller plunger which is equipped with a roller of this type, to a high pressure fuel pump which has said roller plunger, and/or to an internal combustion engine having a crankshaft which comprises the high pressure fuel pump. A roller for a roller plunger of a high pressure fuel pump may include a first roller region comprising a first material, a second roller region comprising a second material, the first material and the second material connected to one another in order to form a composite roller volume element, and the first material having a lighter density than the second material.
Activated carbon fiber sheet for motor vehicle canister
An object is to provide an adsorbent using activated carbon fiber, the adsorbent being suitable for motor vehicle canisters and enabling reduction in pressure loss. An activated carbon fiber sheet for a motor vehicle canister fulfils the following conditions (1) to (4). (1) The sheet has a specific surface area ranging from 1100 to 2300 m.sup.2/g. (2) The sheet has a density ranging from 0.010 to 0.200 g/cm.sup.3 or less. (3) The sheet has a thickness ranging from 0.1 to 100.00 mm. (4) The sheet has a fiber size of 13.0 m or larger.
