Working vehicle
A working vehicle includes a prime mover, a driver's seat selectively set in either a first posture where a driver can sit thereon or a second posture where the driver cannot sit thereon, a speed controller to receive power from the prime mover and perform a speed-changing of the power, a PTO shaft to receive the speed-changed power from the speed controller, a posture switch to detect whether the driver's seat is set in the first or second posture, a parking switch to detect parking of a vehicle body, and a first actuator. During driving of the prime mover, the first actuator maintains the driving of the prime mover when both the parking and the driver's seat set in the second posture are detected, and stops the driving of the prime mover when neither the parking nor the driver's seat set in the second posture is detected.
Transmission park control system
A transmission includes a hydraulically actuated park valve with two spools in a common housing. One of the spools engages and disengages the park mechanism in response to manipulation of line pressure and engagement of specified shift elements. A pin selectively engages this spool to hold it in position. The valve is designed such that friction holds the spool in position in the absence of hydraulic pressure or electric power. The second spool controls an out-of-park circuit such that the park mechanism remains disengaged when desired. The two spools are separated by a compression spring.
Method for operating a motor vehicle having a start/stop system
A method for operating a motor vehicle having an internal combustion engine, a service brake, a brake booster, a parking brake, a wheel-speed sensor and an inclination sensor is disclosed. The method including measuring the speed of motor vehicle using the wheel-speed sensor to create a speed signal. An inclination of the motor vehicle with respect to the direction the motor vehicle is sensed and an angle signal is created. The internal combustion engine is started when the speed measured is greater than zero and the inclination of the motor vehicle is greater than a predetermined value, such that the internal combustion engine creates a partial vacuum to power the brake booster to assist with the operation of the service brake.
Starting a motor vehicle drive unit
The present disclosure pertains to remote starting of a drive unit in a stationary motor vehicle. The drive unit includes one or more driving wheels, a clutch and a gearbox for coupling and decoupling the drive unit and the driving wheels. A starting signal is received by a control unit. The control unit only starts the drive unit in response to the received starting signal when it is detected that the drive unit and the driving wheel arrangement are decoupled and/or that the motor vehicle is at a standstill.
System for remote starting of vehicle with manual transmission
A remote vehicle starter system for vehicles with manual transmission with improved safeguards for preventing the vehicles from being remotely started while the manual transmission is in gear. The remote vehicle starter system for vehicles with manual transmission may also include additional safeguards to prevent the vehicles from being remotely started when there is a risk that the vehicle may move upon being remotely started, such as when the door has been opened after the vehicle has been placed in state safe for remote start.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING ENGINE FOR INDUSTRIAL VEHICLE
According to a system and a method for controlling an engine for an industrial vehicle according to an exemplary embodiment of the present specification, a control unit acquires state information of the industrial vehicle, accurately determines a state of the industrial vehicle based on the acquired state information, and controls whether to start or stop the engine in an idle state.
A System and Method for Controlling Temperature in a Refrigerated Vehicle
A system is disclosed for incorporation into a refrigerated delivery vehicle, the system enabling efficient cooling of the refrigerated compartment of a vehicle to avoid unnecessary idling of the vehicle's engine.
Idle reduction system
An idle reduction system for use with an engine can include a main unit including a controller, and a relay controlled by the controller. The relay can be electrically connected between an ignition switch and an electrical power source for starting the engine. A method of reducing idling of an engine can include connecting an idle reduction system, thereby permitting the system to shut down the engine in response to one or more predetermined conditions, the idle reduction system starting the engine in response to at least one of: a) battery voltage being less than a predetermined level, and b) engine temperature being less than a predetermined level, and the idle reduction system controlling operation of at least one of: an auxiliary air conditioner and an auxiliary heater.
