A nacelle-mounted multiple-appliance lift system has a first lifting appliance and a second lifting appliance mounted in a nacelle of a wind turbine. The first and second lifting appliances are each mounted on main bearing housing securements, gearbox pillow blocks, or both the main bearing housing securements and the gearbox pillow blocks. The first and second lifting appliances share one or both of the main bearing housing securements and the gearbox pillow blocks.

METHOD OF MOUNTING A SEGMENTED GENERATOR OF A WIND TURBINE, GENERATOR SEGMENT, SEGMENTED GENERATOR AND WIND TURBINE

Aspects of the present disclosure are directed to methods for mounting a segmented generator of a wind turbine, wherein the segmented generator for the operation of the wind turbine is formed from two or more generator segments, wherein the generator segments each have a stator segment and a rotor segment, wherein the stator segment for fastening the stator segment to a machine carrier flange of a machine carrier has a stator flange and the rotor segment for fastening to a rotor carrier of a main bearing has a rotor flange, wherein the two or more generator segments in the circumferential direction (U) each extend between two connection interfaces (V1, V2) which are formed for connection with connection interfaces (V1, V2) of generator segments arranged adjacent in the circumferential direction (U).

Pitch motor trolley

A pitch motor trolley and a method for operating a pitch motor trolley are disclosed. Wind turbines use pitch motors to change the pitch of its blade. At times, the pitch motor may need to be replaced, which can be difficult. The pitch motor trolley can move the pitch motor into/out of the hub, and includes a base structure, another structure connected to the base structure at one end and at another end to a track, and a trolley/hoist moving along the track. The base structure can be connected to a part of the nacelle for the pitch motor trolley to move the pitch motor through the nacelle into the hub (and vice versa). The base structure may also be connected to a part of the hub for the pitch motor trolley to move the pitch motor through a ceiling in the hub to the ground (and vice versa).

Nacelle for a wind turbine

The invention relates to a wind turbine nacelle (2) configured for mounting on a wind turbine tower (3) and housing a rotor-supporting assembly supporting a rotor, the nacelle further housing a power conversion assembly, the nacelle comprising: a main unit (20, 101) arranged to be connected to the wind turbine tower (3) and housing the rotor-supporting assembly, andat least one auxiliary unit (21, 22, 102) housing an operative component (34, 35, 104) forming part of the power conversion assembly, wherein the main unit (20, 101) and the auxiliary unit (21, 22, 102) are separate units configured to be connected by a unit fixation structure at an interface, and wherein the at least one auxiliary unit has a first height in an assembled configuration and a second height in a transportation configuration, the first height being higher than the second height.
