MODULAR MULTI-CHANNEL SYRINGE PUMP
A modular multi-channel syringe pump assembly includes a chassis in which are mounted two or more parallel syringe banks. Each syringe bank includes a syringe for retaining a fluid in a chamber with a syringe plunger for drawing fluid into or forcing fluid out of the chamber. A syringe drive actuator includes a syringe drive motor and a mechanical linkage for activating the syringe. At least one position sensor detects syringe position and generates a position signal corresponding to the syringe position. A controller receives the position signal for each syringe bank and generates control signals for operation of the two or more syringe banks.

An air pump apparatus is provided which uses an electric actuator that can electrically operate a pneumatic device such as a suction pad or air chuck. The air pump apparatus includes an air cylinder having a built-in piston, and an electric actuator configured to move the piston linearly and relatively to the air cylinder, using the electric motor as a drive source. Air under negative pressure and/or positive pressure generated by the electric actuator causing the piston of the air cylinder to move linearly is used to operate a pneumatic device.

The present application discloses a piston rod mechanism for an air compressor, along with an air compressor. The piston rod mechanism for an air compressor comprises: a rod and a piston fixedly connected to an output end of the rod, wherein an air vent is provided within the piston, allowing air to communicate between one side of the piston facing towards the rod and the other side away from the rod; an intake valve disposed at the piston, wherein the intake valve is configured to switch between a closed position where the air vent is closed and an open position where the air vent is opened, the intake valve being made of an elastomeric material. Accordingly, the piston rod mechanism for an air compressor, as described in the present application, is capable of reducing noise during operation.

An apparatus to compress a fluid is disclosed herein. The example apparatus includes a casing, an actuation cylinder and a compression cylinder defined in the casing, a rod slidably coupled between the actuation cylinder and the compression cylinder, and a piston coupled to the rod at an end of the rod, the end of the rod in the compression cylinder, the piston slidable relative to the compression cylinder to compress the fluid therein.
