A hydraulic circuit is connected to the actuator and a pump pressurizes fluid in the hydraulic circuit. An adjustable quarter wave tuner is connected to the hydraulic circuit. The adjustable quarter wave tuner has a length that is adjustable within a range of lengths to thereby reduce noise caused by the pump across a corresponding range of frequencies. In some embodiments, the member is a linear actuator, such as a hydraulic cylinder. In other embodiments, the member is a rotary actuator, such as a hydraulic motor.
Plunger pump
This plunger pump includes a pressurization chamber that has a tubular inner circumferential wall and a plunger that has a substantially cylindrical outer circumferential surface. The inner circumferential wall has, in a part thereof in a circumferential direction about an axis of the plunger, a suction opening, which communicates with the pressurization chamber and is for introducing a fuel into the pressurization chamber. The inner circumferential wall is formed with an enlarged gap portion having a larger dimension than a dimension, at a position of the suction opening, from the outer circumferential surface of the plunger to an inner circumferential surface of the inner circumferential wall along a radial direction of the plunger, in at least a part of the inner circumferential wall at a position away from the position of the suction opening in the circumferential direction.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING ASSEMBLY, PARTS SET, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING FUEL INJECTION PUMP, AND FUEL INJECTION PUMP
An assembly includes a housing including a first assembly portion and a cover including a second assembly portion. One of the first assembly portion and the second assembly portion includes: (i) a small diameter inner circumferential wall, a large diameter inner circumferential wall, and an inner stepped portion; or (ii) a large diameter outer circumferential wall, a small diameter outer circumferential wall, and an outer stepped portion. A method for manufacturing the assembly includes a press-fitting step of fitting the housing and the cover by press-fitting to form a circumferential gap that is open in an axial direction and a welding step of welding the housing and the cover at the circumferential gap.
High pressure pump
A housing-includes a pressurizing chamber. A plunger is moved to increase and decrease a volume of the pressurizing chamber, so that the plunger can pressurize the fuel in the pressurizing chamber. A fuel chamber forming portion is placed on a radially outer side of the plunger and forms a fuel chamber that is communicated with the pressurizing chamber. A pulsation damper is placed in an inside of the fuel chamber and is operable to reduce pressure pulsation of the fuel in the fuel chamber. Fixable portions are placed on a radially outer side of the plunger while each of the fixable portions includes a receiving through-hole. The fixable portions are fixed to an engine with bolts, which are provided to correspond with the receiving through-holes, respectively. The fuel chamber forming portion is displaced from axes of the receiving through-holes.
Damper device with a plurality of stacked diaphragms coupled together by a coupler having holders forming a space provided between a peripheral weld of the diaphragms and the coupler
A damper device is provided in a flow passage of a fluid. The damper device includes a plurality of diaphragm dampers that are stacked together. Each of the plurality of diaphragm dampers includes a first flexible portion, a second flexible portion, and a rim including a welded portion. A peripheral edge of the first flexible portion and a peripheral edge of the second flexible portion are welded together in the welded portion. Each of the plurality of diaphragm dampers is configured to seal a gas in an inner region between the first flexible portion and the second flexible portion. A coupler that couples the plurality of diaphragm dampers together includes holders that hold the rims of the plurality of diaphragm dampers. A gap is provided between the holder of the coupler and the welded portion of each of the plurality of diaphragm dampers.
NESTED PRE-CHARGE CARTRIDGES
A nested gas charged cartridge for insertion in a cylinder to reduce pulsations in a fluid pumping system includes a first gas cartridge and a second gas cartridge, and optionally a third gas cartridge. Each of the first, second, and third gas cartridges independently and cumulatively reduce pulsations entering the cylinder. A diameter of the third gas cartridge is less than a diameter of the second gas cartridge, which both are less than a diameter of a first gas cartridge.
Bilge System
A bilge pump system for removing residual fluid from a vessel surface, includes at least one collection unit having a collection base with a collection inlet and a collection outlet, and a pump having a pump inlet flow-connected by at least one tube to the collection outlet. A discharge tube is flow-connected to the pump outlet, wherein the collection inlet comprises at least one opening on a bottom face of the collection base arranged to be on the vessel surface. A sponge is arranged within the opening of the collection base and in liquid communication with the vessel surface. The sponge can be fitted into place by lips or lugs protruding from the collection base.
High-pressure fuel pump
The present disclosure relates to pumps. Various embodiments may include a high-pressure fuel pump with: a low-pressure region with a low-pressure damper for damping pressure pulsations that occur during the operation of the high-pressure fuel pump; a damper capsule contained in the damper volume; and a spiral spring enclosed in the damper volume for imparting a preload force to at least a region of the damper capsule. The low-pressure damper has a damper volume. The damper capsule has a gas volume enclosed between two membranes.
High-pressure fuel pump for a fuel injection system
