Linear-acting electric pump unit and method for operating said unit
A linear-acting electric pump unit and method for operating said unit. A linear-acting electric pump unit comprises an electromagnet and a pump unit. It is to be suitable for delivering gas/liquid mixtures. In order that it may be compactly assembled with other devices, it is to have a central inlet. The fluid delivered by the pump unit flows through the electromagnet and enters the pump unit on one side and leaves it on the other through the non-return valves, each arranged on the same centre line as the electromagnet. The pump unit can be used for delivery of gas/liquid mixtures, preferably in the sphere of combustion engines and their fuel supply systems and exhaust emission control systems.
Mechanical resonant pump
Provided herein is a mechanical resonant system, comprising a frame; at least one pump disposed on the frame; one or two masses coupled to the frame by a first plurality of resilient members; and at least one voice coil actuator disposed within the frame and coupled to the at least one pump or to the one or two masses; wherein when the system comprises two masses, a second plurality of resilient members couple the masses to each other. Also provided are methods for using these mechanical resonant systems to evacuate a chamber, to compress air, or sense changes in pressure.

IVORY SYSTEM FOR VAPOUR RECOVERY
The invention relates to a method for controlling a linear pump of a vapour recovery system in a fuel dispensing unit. The linear pump is flow controlled by a signal. The method comprises applying a known voltage to a solenoid coil of the linear pump for a predetermined time period, measuring a current consumption of the solenoid coil during the predetermined time period, and adjusting the signal based on the measured current consumption. The invention also relates to a vapour recovery system for recovering vapour from a motor vehicle tank via a fuel dispensing nozzle to a vapour tank.

Pump device for a brake system of a motor vehicle, brake system
A pump device for a brake system of a motor vehicle has a housing, a pressure piston which delimits a pressure chamber in the housing for producing hydraulic pressure mounted in the housing in a longitudinally displaceable manner, a return spring assigned to the pressure piston, a non-return valve which separates the pressure chamber from a pressure connection and only removes the separation when the hydraulic pressure in the pressure chamber is greater than in the pressure connection, and an electromagnetic actuator which includes an armature and an electrically energizable solenoid. The armature is arranged on the pressure piston and the solenoid in and/or on the housing. The pressure piston has an axial through-channel which opens out into the pressure chamber at one end and is assigned to the non-return valve at the other end.

PUMP DRIVE SYSTEM
A rotational output assembly is configured to provide power to a drive assembly to cause pumping by a pump. The rotational output assembly includes an electric motor and a pinion drive projecting axially from the motor. The pinion drive interfaces with bearings supported on a pump frame. The pinion drive includes a gear teeth section between portions interfacing with the bearings supported on the pump frame. The gear teeth section interfaces with a drive gear of the drive assembly to cause rotation of the drive gear.
