A high pressure gas lift compressor system and method of using the system for supplying compressed gas to multiple wells are provided. The system includes a compressor having multiple compressor cylinders. Each cylinder has its own gas inlet line and dedicated gas outlet line that supplies compressed gas from that cylinder directly to a wellbore to provide artificial gas lift. Each cylinder also has its own control valve upstream of the cylinder to control the suction pressure to the cylinder. A desired gas flow rate to each well may be input, and the control valve is adjusted accordingly to achieve the flow rate. By inputting a flow rate for each separate cylinder, the flow rate to each well may be independently controlled.

Method of producing air for ventricular assist system

A pump system has a rotatory shaft and a rotatory drive arrangement coupled to the rotatory shaft for applying rotatory energy thereto. First through fourth pump arrangements are coupled to the rotatory shaft, each pump arrangement pumping a pulse of air during each rotation of the rotatory shaft, the first, second, third, and fourth pump arrangements pumping a corresponding pulse of air sequentially during each rotation of the rotatory shaft. The rotatory shaft has a first and second ends, and a central region therebetween where an electric motor is coaxially arranged. The first and third pump arrangements are coupled to the first end of the rotatory shaft, and the second and fourth pump arrangements are coupled to the second end of the rotatory shaft. Angularly displaced eccentric couplers couple the pump arrangements to the respective ends of the rotatory shaft.

A reciprocating pump capable of reducing its overall size by suppressing the size of an entire drive unit. A plurality of piston parts move in the same direction and draw fluid into a plurality of pump chambers and discharge the fluid. The pump chambers are adjacent to each other. A motor has a drive shaft between the centers of piston parts located at both ends in the installation direction of the pump chambers and oriented in a direction substantially orthogonal to the installation direction of the pump chambers and substantially orthogonal to the moving direction of the piston parts. A plurality of cams are aligned adjacent each other in the axial direction on the motor drive shaft. The cams are linked to the piston parts so that the cams cause the reciprocal movement of the piston parts.
