DEVICE FOR REDUCING NOISE OF COMPRESSOR IN AIR CONDITIONER
Various embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a side felt structure applied to reduce noise emitted from a compressor in an air conditioner. To this end, a device for reducing noise of an air conditioner may comprise: a terminal block disposed to protrude from the outer peripheral surface of a compressor; a side felt disposed to encompass the compressor, and including an opening allowing the terminal block to be seen from the outside; and a terminal block cover felt extending from one side of the opening formed in the side felt, so as to open/close at least a portion of the opening.
Standby generator with air intake on rear wall and exhaust opening on front wall
A standby generator includes an engine including an output shaft, an alternator, and an enclosure including a base and a number of walls extending from the base including a front wall, a rear wall, a left wall, and a right wall. The output shaft extends toward the alternator and the left wall. The standby generator includes an intake opening configured to allow air to be drawn into the enclosure and an exhaust opening configured to allow heated air and exhaust gases to be expelled from the enclosure. The intake opening is provided on the rear wall and the exhaust opening is provided on the front wall.
Compressor housing having sound control chambers
A compressor assembly having a housing with a number of sound control chambers. A method of controlling a sound level of a compressor assembly having a step of providing a plurality of sound control chambers. A method of controlling a sound level of a compressor assembly having a step of eliminating an operator's line-of-sight view to noise producing components of the compressor assembly. Sound level of a compressor can be controlled by separating the internal volume of a housing which encases at least a portion of a pump assembly to create sound control chambers and/or eliminating an operator's line-of-sight view to noise producing components of the compressor assembly.

COMPRESSOR UNIT
A compressor unit includes a compressor, an electric motor which is lined with the compressor along the horizontal direction and drives the compressor, and a sound shielding member which reduces noise generated by the compressor. The sound shielding member has a shape of surrounding the compressor on a first side, a second side and a third side of the compressor and exposing the electric motor, the first and second sides being in a depth direction perpendicular to a lined direction in which the compressor and the electric motor are lined, and the third side being opposite to another side of the compressor where the electric motor is located in the lined direction.
MINIATURE VACUUM/PRESSURE DIAPHRAGM PUMPS WITH NOISE MITIGATION BOOT
A noise mitigation boot that can be installed on or integrated into a miniature diaphragm pump to reduce the overall noise and improve sound quality during operation. The diaphragm pump includes a housing having first and second ports and an interior chamber, a pumping diaphragm disposed in the interior chamber and dividing the interior chamber into a pumping chamber and a backside chamber, a motor for reciprocating the pumping diaphragm for pumping air into and out of the pumping chamber, and flow passages connecting the pumping chamber to the first and second ports. The first port is configured for attachment to a flow line and the second port opens to an exterior surface of the housing. The noise mitigation boot has a muffler wall overlying the exterior surface of the housing. The muffler wall has formed therein a passage extending from the second port to the backside chamber for effecting fluid communication between the second port and the backside chamber.
Motor driven compressor
A motor-driven compressor includes a metal housing accommodating a compression unit and an electric motor and a resin cover coupled to the housing. The cover and the housing define an accommodation chamber that accommodates a motor driving circuit that drives the electric motor. A metal shield is fixed to the cover and blocks electromagnetic noise. The shield and the cover are stacked together. A sealing member located between the shield and the cover. The sealing member is configured to block entry of foreign matter into the accommodation chamber through a gap between the shield and the cover.
Linear compressor, shell for linear compressor, and method for manufacturing shell of linear compressor
A linear compressor, a shell for a linear compressor, and a method for manufacturing a shell of a linear compressor are provided. The shell may have at least one portion having a multilayer plate, in which at least two plates may be stacked in a direction substantially perpendicular to an axis of a piston so as to accommodate a cylinder, the piston, which may be reciprocated within the cylinder, and a motor assembly directly connected to the piston to provide a drive force to the piston. At least one resonator may be disposed in or at at least a portion of an inner surface of the shell.
SOUNDPROOF COVER OF COMPRESSOR FOR AIR CONDITIONER
To provide a soundproof cover of a compressor for an air conditioner having manufacturability and workability while possessing excellent soundproofing performance.
A soundproof cover of a compressor for an air conditioner includes a sound-insulating material body portion 11 that is a rubber or thermoplastic-elastomer molded product with sound-insulating properties having a shape corresponding to an outer shape of a compressor body portion including a compressor leg portion positioned on a lower end side, having a folded portion 12 extending along a height direction of the compressor body portion and covering the compressor body portion by being folded through the folded portion 12, a sound-insulating material head portion 21 that is a rubber or thermoplastic-elastomer molded product with sound-insulating properties having a shape corresponding to an outer shape of a compressor head portion positioned on an upper end side of the compressor body portion and a sound absorbing material provided at least inside the sound-insulating material body portion 11.
