APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR GAS COMPRESSION
An apparatus and method for substantially reducing or eliminating the introduction of ambient air into an open-crankcase compressor is disclosed. The method employs a compressed gas recycle control loop to reduce the magnitude of vacuum inside the open-crankcase compressor relative to ambient air pressure, thereby reducing or eliminating the introduction of ambient air into the open-crankcase compressor during the gas compression process.
Pulsation damper for compressors
Devices, systems, and methods for pulsation dampers for compressors include outer and inner chambers forming parallel flow paths.
Hermetic compressor and refrigeration apparatus
A communication pipe outlet (263) of a suction muffler (26) included in a hermetic compressor (10) includes a communication opening (264). An upper shape (264a) of the communication opening (264) is a curved protruding shape, and a lower shape (264b) of the communication opening (264) is a rectangular shape. A suction hole (33) of a valve plate (30) included in the hermetic compressor (10) is formed such that the cylinder side of the suction hole (33) has a non-recessed closed-curve shape, and the communication pipe side of the suction hole (33) has a shape similar to that of the communication opening (264). The valve plate (30) and a communication pipe (262) are connected in a state where an upper peripheral surface of the communication opening (264) of the communication pipe outlet (263) corresponds to an upper peripheral surface of the suction hole (33).
Reciprocating compressor having a suction acoustic filter with a fastener that deforms when in place
A reciprocating compressor is provided. The compressor includes at least one functional assembly integrated by at least one compression cylinder and at least one reciprocating piston; at least one electric motor capable of moving the reciprocating piston inside the compression cylinder; at least one set of valves capable of controlling the flow of fluid entering and leaving the compression cylinder, the valves being arranged in a head of the reciprocating compressor; at least one head cover capable of being arranged next to the head of the reciprocating compressor; and at least one suction acoustic filter integrated by at least one outlet pipe provided with at least one outlet path capable of being arranged next to the head of the reciprocating compressor. The suction acoustic filter is fastened to the head cover using a fastener.
SILENCER AND EJECTOR IN WHICH SILENCER IS USED
A silencer is equipped with a hollow tubular portion in which a discharge flow passage is formed that communicates on one end side thereof with a discharge port of a fluid pressure device (ejector) through which a pressure fluid is discharged, a cap member attached to another end part of the tubular portion, a sound absorbing member attached to an inner wall surface of the tubular portion, and a plurality of discharge ports adapted to discharge the pressure fluid, which has passed through the discharge flow passage in an axial direction of the tubular portion, in radial directions perpendicular to the axial direction.
System and method for reducing at least one of airflow turbulence and pressure fluctuation proximate a valve
A baffle, for directing air within a compressor head, includes a first leg extending along a first direction, positioned proximate to a first valve of the compressor head, and a second leg extending along the first direction and substantially parallel to the first leg, positioned proximate to a second valve of the compressor head. A first portion of air from a first side of the first leg is communicated to a second side of the first leg beyond an end of the first leg. An aperture in the first leg communicates a second portion of the air from the first side of the first leg to the second side of the first leg. A turbulence and/or pressure fluctuation proximate the first valve is reduced by communicating the second portion of the air from the first side to the second side of the first leg.
DYNAMIC VARIABLE ORIFICE FOR COMPRESSOR PULSATION CONTROL
A pulsation dampening apparatus for providing a selectively variable orifice size fir a reciprocating compressor system includes a rotatable conical cage and a fixed conical cage, the conical cages being aligned along a central axis to firm a central cylindrical port. The conical cages each include at least one window or port and have mating contours allowing the conical cages to rotatably slide over one another, allowing their respective ports to be selectively aligned in any configuration to create any desired effective orifice size. In one embodiment, each of the conical cages include a plurality of ports which can be selectively aligned, the relative alignment of the ports determining the effective orifice size of the pulsation dampening apparatus.
PULSATION MUFFLERS FOR COMPRESSORS
The invention is related to a pulsation muffler (100) for a gaseous medium flow (107), which is supplied by a compressor. The pulsation muffler (100) comprises a housing (101) extending along a central axis with a medium flow inlet (106) and a medium flow outlet; several tubular absorber elements (108) concentrically arranged in the housing (10) and fluidically arranged one behind the other. Each tubular absorber element (108) is provided with an inlet area and an outlet area, positioned at an axial distance from each other. Between the respective radially adjacent wall sections of different absorber elements (108), a flow compartment (112, 114) is maintained for the medium flow (107).
Hydrostatic axial piston machine
A hydrostatic axial piston machine of swashplate type of construction includes a rotatable cylinder drum that has a plurality of cylinder bores, which are arranged approximately axially, formed in the cylinder drum. A piston is inserted into each cylinder bore at one side. At the other side, each cylinder bore is freely connected via a respective passage opening to a face surface of the cylinder drum. The face surface bears against a static distributor disk. The respective mouths arranged at the face surface, or the passage openings as a whole, have a cross section that has two or four widenings with rounded corners so as to enlarge the cross-sectional area in relation to the circular shape.
