An apparatus and method of compressing a gas is provided. The system includes a gas storage tank and a liquid holding tank and a hollow cylinder. A piston is disposed in the hollow cylinder dividing the hollow cylinder into a first compartment and a second compartment. A gas collector tank is in fluid connection with the first compartment by an outline line. A radiator is provided in fluid connection with the second compartment and the liquid holding tank. The system also contains a pump. The apparatus system may also be coupled to a reactor system oxidizes a hydrocarbon-containing gas.
AIR COMPRESSOR
An air compressor includes a driving device and a vehicle engine. The vehicle engine includes a casing with multiple cylinders and a crank located therein. Each of the cylinders has a piston movably received therein, and each piston has a piston rod which is pivotably connected to the crank. The driving device drives the crank. A cylinder head is mounted to the casing and includes an entrance and an exit. Each of the pistons is moved back-and-forth in the cylinder corresponding thereto by rotation of the crank. Air is sucked into the cylinders via the entrance and is compressed by the pistons. The compressed air is released via the exit.
Reciprocating compressor and control method therefor
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a reciprocating compressor which is a compact, light-weight, portable air compressor such that deterioration of performance due to problems such as wear on the surface finish of the cylinder when the compressor is used for a long period of time outside the operating temperature range thereof is prevented. To achieve this, the cylinder temperature is detected, and control is carried out so that the compressor is restarted at a lower restart pressure when the temperature is lower than a prescribed value and stopped (and also restarted, preferably) at a low pressure when the temperature is higher than a prescribed value.
Oil lubricated compressor
An oil lubricated compressor having a universal motor, efficient starting and re-starting characteristics, and a long operating life. The oil lubricated compressor can have a brushed or brushless universal motor which can drive a cooling fan and a pump. The universal motor can achieve a high torque to voltage ratio, as well as a high torque to current ratio, upon starting or re-starting of the compressor. Optionally, the oil lubricated compressor can use a single cooling fan disposed in the compressor at a location which is between the universal motor and a cylinder head of the pump.
Package-Type Fluid Machine
A package-type fluid machine includes a compressor unit including a compression portion that compresses a fluid, a motor that drives the compression portion, and a cooling fan that is driven by the motor; a machine chamber in which the compressor unit is disposed; an inverter chamber which is adjacent to the machine chamber and in which an inverter is disposed; a partition wall that partitions off the machine chamber from the inverter chamber and has an opening; and an inverter intake port that is disposed in the inverter chamber to take in a cooling gas. The cooling fan is disposed on a side of the machine chamber, the opening being located on the side. The cooling fan is driven to cause the cooling gas to flow from the inverter intake port to the opening to cool the inverter.
ELECTRIC DRIVE COMPRESSOR SYSTEM
An electric drive compressor system (1) comprising: a reciprocating compressor (2) having temperature and pressure sensors (83, 84) for sensing a pressure and temperature of gas prior to compression by the compressor (1) and for sensing a pressure and temperature of gas after compression by the compressor (1); a motor (3) connected to the compressor (1) for driving the compressor (1); a cooling system (4) for cooling the motor (3); and a controller (5) for controlling the motor (3) in real time based on the temperature and pressure sensor readings of the gas prior to and after compression by the compressor (1). Features and advantages of the systems (1) as exemplified are as follows: lightweight and compact design; refrigerant circuit sealed from electric motor for ease of maintenance and service; air cooled from unique fin and airflow passage design, with fan width pulse width modulation; intelligent control system with pressure and temperature sensors/transducers and software; separate compressor working assembly to ensure piston alignment and compression is not affected by heat distortion; separate outer housing and compressor crankcase to ensure leak free operation.
MOTOR ASSEMBLY FOR DRIVING A PUMP OR ROTARY DEVICE HAVING A COOLING DUCT
A motor assembly includes an electric motor with an output shaft. A motor frame houses the electric motor so that the output shaft protrudes from an end of the motor frame. A plate assembly is coupleable about the output shaft to the end of the motor frame. The plate assembly has a cavity that houses motor drive electronics. The plate assembly further defines a duct that extends between a central opening and one or more openings on an outer radial wall of the plate assembly. A fan is configured to flow air over one or more surfaces of the plate assembly and causes to flow through the duct to inhibits heat transfer between the electric motor and the motor drive electronics.

Air compressor 10 for a vehicle, including at least one cooling duct 30 arranged to convey air from outside of the compressor 10, alongside a sealable chamber 28 containing a motor 22, alongside a cylinder 12, and through a cylinder head 18 to emit from at least one exhaust 32 spaced from an air inlet 20, and a fan 34 operable to impel air through the, or each, cooling duct 30. Alternatively or additionally, the compressor 10 includes a sensor 56 arranged to sense a critical parameter of the compressor 10, and a controller in communication with the motor 22 and the sensor 56, the controller configured to control operation of the motor 22 to adjust a rotational speed of a shaft 24 responsive to receiving a sensed value from the sensor 56.
Air compressor
An air compressor contains: a torque gear on which a central orifice and a connection rod are arranged. The central orifice has screw threads defined thereon and corresponds to one of multiple positioning orifices of a base, the one positioning orifice is configured to accommodate a bearing, and a screw bolt is inserted through the bearing in the base so as to screw with the central orifice via the torque gear. The connection rod of the torque gear is rotatably connected with a piston so that the piston moves in a cylinder to produce compressed air, the torque gear matingly contacts with the bearing along the screw bolt, and the bearing is not broken in the one positioning orifice, thus moving the piston in the cylinder reciprocately.
