A valve assembly for a reciprocating gas compressor includes a seat, a guard plate attached to the seat, elements, and springs is presented. The seat defines inlet openings, each inlet opening extends through the seat along a central longitudinal axis of each inlet opening. The guard plate defines element bores, each element bore aligning with one of the inlet openings along the central longitudinal axis. Each element includes a first end with a first recessed surface and a second end with a second recessed surface, the first end and the second end cooperating to define a cylindrical shape therebetween, and an extension protruding outward from the outer diameter of the element. Each element is positioned within one of the element bores and movable between an open position in which the element contacts the guard plate and a closed position in which the element contacts the seat.

Compressor with a discharge muffler

A discharge valve assembly includes an outer shell. An inner sleeve is positioned within the outer shell. A side wall of the inner sleeve is spaced from a side wall of the outer shell along a radial direction. A distal end of the side wall of the inner sleeve is spaced from an end wall of the outer shell by a gap along an axial direction. The inner sleeve divides an interior volume of the outer shell into a first muffler cavity and a second muffler cavity. A related compressor is also provided.

A poppet valve for a piston compressor having a catcher, a valve body with a plurality of inlet ducts opening into a valve seat, and a plurality of closing elements which can be moved in an axial direction. Each inlet duct is assigned a closing element, and the valve seat is arranged to lie opposite the associated closing element in the axial direction in such a way that the valve seat can be closed by way of the closing element A spring is arranged between the catcher and the closing element, to bring a pre-stressing force on the closing element, which pre-stressing force is oriented towards the valve seat. The spring encloses an inner space. A guide part which runs in the axial direction is arranged on the catcher, on which guide part the closing element is mounted such that it can move, in the axial direction.

RECIPROCATING GAS COMPRESSOR VALVE

A reciprocating gas compressor valve having a plurality of clusters of kidney shaped holes positioned along a common circular or annular locus in the main body and a sealing element with a top portion, a bottom portion and a tubular section. The tubular section is integrally connected to the top portion and bottom portion. In an open position, a flow pathway is provided through the clusters of kidney shaped holes and the tubular section and the bottom profile abuts a stop surface of the valve. In a closed position, the top profile abuts the seat for sealing gas flow within the valve.

The traveling valve has a head portion of the body extending downwardly from the head portion. The body is slidably movable within an interior of the plunger. The body has a fluid-passing channel therein that opens to an exterior of the body.
