COMPOSITION FOR MAKING BOUILLONS
The objective of the current invention is to provide a composition that can be used for making bouillons, soups and gravies, and that is free from kitchen salt. Such composition has now been developed, preferably in the form of a solid or pasty cube, for preparing a bouillon, to which no kitchen salt has been added, and which contains a specific ratio of native starch and maltodextrin and/or glucose syrup. This ratio between these ingredients leads to a good quality composition that can be prepared in the same way as regular compositions for making bouillons that do contain kitchen salt.

Method For Making Reconstituted Plant Material Using Extrusion or Molding Processes and Products So Obtained
The present invention relates to a method for making products of reconstituted plant material using extrusion and/or molding processes, wherein the reconstituted plant material comprises a fibrous plant product and a plant extract applied thereto. Further, the invention relates to the products obtained by these methods. The plants used may be all plants comprising one or more substances of interest for an edible product.
Taste-improving agent
Provided is a taste-improving agent that suppresses the unpleasant taste of potassium, such as harshness, irritativeness, and bitterness without reducing the salty taste of a potassium-containing food or drink. The taste-improving agent for a potassium-containing food or drink comprises a lactic acid-fermented yeast extract that is obtainable by fermenting a yeast extract with a lactic acid bacterium and contains 7.5 (w/w) % or more of lactic acid relative to the solid content of the yeast extract.

PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITION CONTAINING COMBINATION EXTRACTS OF MOUTAN ROOT BARK, ANGELICA DAHURICA ROOT, BUPLEURUM ROOT OR FRACTIONS THEREOF FOR PREVENTION AND TREATMENT OF NEURODEGENERATIVE DISORDER
The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for treating and preventing degenerative neurological disorders, containing, as an active ingredient, a mixture extract of two or more types selected from the group consisting of Moutan Root Bark, Angelica Dahurica Root, and Bupleurum Root, or a fraction thereof. Specifically, the extract of the mixture of the present invention exhibits a recovery effect on mitochondrial function damage, a relieving effect on endoplasmic reticulum stress and also exhibits simultaneously an inhibitory effect on inflammatory response, which are remarkably improved compared with those exhibited in an in vitro single extract, and the extract of the mixture significantly exhibits an improvement effect on motor coordination and a protective effect on dopaminergic neurons in a Parkinson's disease animal model, and thus the extract of the mixture of the present invention or a fraction thereof can be useful as an active ingredient of a pharmaceutical composition for treating and preventing degenerative neurological disorders.
