An improved air compressor generally includes a cylinder fitted with a piston body, a main frame for mounting a motor, and an air storage container. The cylinder, which defines a plurality of exit holes, is formed integrally with the main frame. The compressed air produced in the cylinder can quickly enter the air storage container via the exit holes, so that the piston body can conduct reciprocating motion more smoothly and thus the performance of the air compressor can be increased.

LINEAR COMPRESSOR WITH A COUPLING

A linear compressor includes a piston with a piston head and a cylindrical side wall. An inner surface of the cylindrical side wall defines a ball seat. A coupling extends between a mover and a piston. The coupling includes a flex mount that extends between a first end portion and a second end portion. The flex mount is connected to the mover away from the first end portion of the flex mount. A ball nose is positioned at the first end portion of the flex mount. The ball nose contacts the piston at the ball seat of the piston. A spring urges the ball nose against the ball seat of the piston.

Capacitive liquid leak detection device

A liquid leak detector for a pump is described. The liquid leak detector is mountable on a pump to detect leaked fluid coming from the pump. The leak detector includes a buffer tube positioned on the pump to collect a leaked fluid from the pump and a sensor positioned on the buffer tube to detect the level of leaked fluid in the buffer tube and to generate a signal when the leaked fluid reaches a maximum fluid level. A purge line on the buffer tube removes leaked drive fluid from the buffer tube once the leaked drive fluid reaches a maximum level. Logic connected to the sensor receives the signal from the detector and generates an alarm.

Piston and valve sheet arrangement in compressor assembly for refrigeration device

A piston assembly for a compressor assembly is provided. The piston assembly has a piston and a valve sheet. The valve sheet is arranged at an end of the piston. The valve sheet has a valve sheet body with a mounting port, and a valve tongue connected to the valve sheet body. At least part of the valve tongue is arranged in the mounting port. At least part of a contour of the mounting port matches with a circumferential contour of one end of the piston close to the valve sheet.

Cylinder head assembly for reciprocating compressor

A compressor may include a housing, a piston, and a cylinder head assembly. The housing defines a cylinder and a first valve seat defining a recess. The piston is movable within the cylinder to define a compression chamber. The cylinder head assembly is mounted on the housing and includes a valve plate, a suction valve, a discharge valve and a head cover. The valve plate may be mounted to the mounting surface and may include a suction plenum, a suction passage providing fluid communication between the suction plenum and the cylinder, and a discharge passage. The suction valve can seat on the first valve seat to allow fluid flow through the suction passage. The head cover may include a discharge chamber and an integrally formed guide post extending into the discharge chamber. The guide post may include a pocket that receives a discharge valve stem for reciprocation therein.

Cylinder head cover (8) for a coolant compressor, wherein the cylinder head cover (8) is attachable to the cylinder head arrangement (21) in order to form a hollow space for receiving a coolant compressed by the piston, wherein the cylinder head arrangement (21) comprises a valve plate (9) attached to the cylinder housing and having an outlet opening (11) and an outlet valve (6,7), which closes the outlet opening (11) in cycles and consists of a valve spring (10) and a stop plate (6a,7a) for delimiting an opening movement of the valve spring (10).

In order to achieve a cost-efficient production and installation of the cylinder head cover (8) while assuring a secure support of the stop plate (6a,7a), it is provided according to the invention that the cylinder head cover (8) comprises at least two contact surfaces (12,13) for supporting stop plates (6a,7a) of different outlet valves (6,7) in order to adjust different opening positions of the valve springs (10) of the different outlet valves (6,7).

MANUALLY OPERATED PUMP ASSEMBLY

A manually operated pump exhibiting numerous improvement over existing such pumps is described. The pump can include a cylinder that is removeably mounted to a molded valve box of unitary construction. The valve box can feature a valve plate covering a valve chamber and housing an inlet valve and an outlet valve. In some instances, the pump includes a molded piston of unitary construction to which a pair of opposing piston cups is mounted. In some cases, the pump includes a filler cap forming an inlet adapted to deliver a priming fluid into the cylinder. In some cases, the pump includes a stopper cap adapted to prevent a pump shaft from being fully pulled out of the cylinder.
