PUMP AND COMBINATION PUMP/MIXER DEVICE

A pump or combination pump/mixer device is disclosed. The pump or pump/mixer uses moving diaphragms in combination with check valves to pump and/or mix fluid. A main inlet is located at the top of the pump and is fed by a vessel or container that contains fluid. The fluid, in response to the moving diaphragms, passes through an outer chamber into a plurality of lower chambers and then into a central chamber where the fluid then exits via one or more outlets. A series of check-valves are used to ensure one-way flow of fluid through the chambers. The drive shaft of a motor or drive unit drives a nutating disk or wobble plate that actuates the diaphragms to drive fluid through the device. In the pump/mixer configuration, one or more additional inlets are provided to input additional fluids into the device for mixing within the inside of the pump/mixer.

Automated fluid transfer system

An automated fluid transfer system and method allows a person to pour fluid, such as used motor oil, into a collection pan which automatically pumps the fluid to a bulk storage tank, without secondary containment in the collection pan. The system utilizes an air powered pump, thereby eliminating the use of electricity which creates fire and explosion hazards. A float rises and falls in response to fluid in the pan, so as to automatically turn on and turn off the pump. An alternative manual mode is provided to allow fluid to be sucked by the pump from a container directly into the bulk storage tank, while bypassing the collection pan.

Provided is a reciprocating pump including: pump sections that are disposed in parallel with each other, each of the pump sections including a suction part for inflow of fluid, and a discharge part for outflow of fluid; a suction-side fluid passage for connection between the suction parts of the pump sections; and a discharge-side fluid passage for connection between the discharge parts of the pump sections; each of the pump sections includes a suction valve that allows and blocks circulation of fluid to be sucked, and a discharge valve that allows and blocks circulation of fluid to be discharged; a suction-valve operation member that opens the suction valve from outside; and a discharge-valve operation member that opens the discharge valve from outside. The suction-side fluid passage and the discharge-side fluid passage are expandable and contractible in a pipe axial direction.

Pump assemblies configured for drive and pump end interchangeability

A universal pump assembly mounts, interchangeably, on a canned motor or on an adapter having an outer magnet assembly rotated by a motor. The pump assembly has a casing with an inlet and an outlet, and an impeller rotatable within the casing to pump fluid from the inlet to the outlet. The pump assembly can have either a mounting ring for attachment to the canned motor, or a containment shell having a cup with an inner magnet assembly and a mounting ring extending from the cup for attachment to the adapter. Mounting features of the mounting ring may be threaded holes or internally threaded posts as non-limiting examples.

DRIVE SYSTEM FOR A POSITIVE DISPLACEMENT PUMP

A drive system for a pump includes a housing, first and second fluid displacement members, and a reciprocating member configured to mechanically displace the first and second fluid displacement members through respective suction strokes. The housing and fluid displacement members define an internal pressure chamber configured to be filled with a working fluid having a charge pressure. The internal pressure chamber is configured such that the working fluid simultaneously exerts the charge pressure on the first and second fluid displacement members.

This unique and novel invention is related to supporting an engine on a high-volume double diaphragm pump such that the engine mounting apparatus may be integrally attached directly to the fuel tank of the high-volume double diaphragm pump. Such a connection is successfully achieved with cleverly providing a table shaped engine mount to strategically mitigate the transmission of vibration generated by the engine.
