INFUSION PUMP SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ADMINISTRATION SETS
An LVP that provides peristaltic pumping to removably couplable administration set tubing assemblies supplying medical infusate. The LVP includes a housing, a drive-train assembly, and a controller. The housing includes an assembly receptacle configured to receive an administration set tubing assembly. The drive-train assembly provides mechanical peristaltic movement within the assembly receptacle. The drive-train assembly includes a stepper motor located within the housing and a camshaft assembly, driven by the stepper motor and at least partially extending into the assembly receptacle. The camshaft assembly includes a unitary camshaft and a plurality of tube engaging members that cooperatively move according to rotation of the unitary camshaft. Further, the controller is located within the housing that controls operation of the stepper motor and the camshaft assembly.
Heat exchange system for patient temperature control with easy loading high performance peristaltic pump
A peristaltic pump has an arcuate raceway with a partially concave inner surface extending through an arc of at least one hundred eighty degrees (180°). The arc defines a midpoint, and a rotor faces the inner surface of the raceway and is both rotatable relative to the raceway and translationally movable relative to the raceway between a pump position, wherein the rotor is spaced from the midpoint a first distance, and a tube load position, wherein the rotor is spaced from the midpoint a second distance greater than the first distance. A motor is coupled to the rotor to rotate the rotor plural are rollers arranged on the rotor to contact tubing disposed between the rotor and the raceway when the rotor is in the pump position. The motor is prevented from stopping at a predetermined angular position to facilitate loading and unloading tubing.
Peristaltic pump and analyzer for testing a sample
A peristaltic pump and an analyzer for testing a biological sample, wherein the pump includes a pump head that is constructed as a screwless assembly, wherein the pump includes a bayonet and/or a beam coupling, and/or wherein rollers of the pump are configured to be pivoted about corresponding pivot axes that intersect with the roller axes.
Systems and Components for Regulating Fluid Infusion to a Patient
Various fluid delivery systems are described comprising an infusion pump having a housing with a first opening and a hollow interior portion that is configured to receive a cartridge having a tubing. A pump unit can be disposed within the housing. The pump unit comprises a motor mechanically coupled with a crank shaft or eccentric cam that is configured to move a set of pistons or other objects to thereby compress one or more portions of the tubing over time as the crank shaft or eccentric cam rotates.
CONTROLLABLE PUMPING TUBING
A medical pumping system is provided. The medical pumping system includes a fluid pump having a fluid inlet connection, a fluid outlet connection, an actuator and a backing surface. A tube of an intravenous set is disposed between the fluid inlet connection and the fluid outlet connection of the fluid pump, and disposed between the actuator and the backing surface, and a binding contact interface. The tube and the actuator are coupled together by the binding contact interface. The actuator is configured to actively pull a portion of the tube into an open position during a pump cycle. A medical pump and an infusion set are also provided.
Peristaltic pump having improved pumping fingers
A pumping finger subassembly for a peristaltic infusion pump has a housing, a pinch member, a block member, and at least one biasing spring. The housing includes a transverse slot, a first side wall, and an open second side through which the pinch member and biasing spring(s) are inserted into the transverse slot. The block member includes a foot portion and a side wall portion. The foot portion is insertable into the housing through the open second side such that the block member is constrained against movement relative to the housing and the side wall portion of the block member opposes the first side wall of the housing, whereby the pinch member is supported on both lateral sides to prevent tilting of the pinch member.
LINEAR CLEANING PERISTALTIC METERING PUMP
A linear cleaning peristaltic metering pump includes a pump body, a hose fixing accessory and an anti-backflow accessory. The hose fixing accessory is configured for arranging a working hose. The anti-backflow accessory is configured for clamping and loosening the working hose. The pump body is configured for performing reciprocating motion to clamp or loosen the working hose, thereby realizing a pumping effect by metering pump. The anti-backflow accessory is in cooperation with the pump body. The pump body comprises a roller lifting assembly, a roller hose-pressing assembly, a pump body outer cover assembly and a power transmission part. The power transmission part is configured for driving the roller lifting assembly to perform lifting linear motion, thereby driving the roller hose-pressing assembly to move and to clamp or loosen the working hose.
DOUBLE-ROLLER HOSE PRESSING APPARATUS FOR PERISTALTIC PUMP
A double-roller hose pressing apparatus for a peristaltic pump is provided. Two sides of a working hose (3) in the peristaltic pump are respectively provided with a set of flexible-rolling rollers (2) configured for pressing hose, and the two sets of rollers (2) are arranged in relative positions to clamp the working hose (3) during operation.
Apparatus for infusing fluid
A pump for pumping fluid includes a tube platen, a plunger, a bias member, inlet and outlet valves, an actuator mechanism, a position sensor, and a processor. The plunger is configured for actuation toward and away from the infusion-tube when the tube platen is disposed opposite to the plunger. The tube platen can hold an intravenous infusion tube. The bias member is configured to urge the plunger toward the tube platen.
Fluid pump providing balanced input/output flow rate
A fluid pump device includes an elastically deformable conduit, multiple volume displacement elements, and a controller. During operation, the controller controls movement of the multiple volume displacement elements (such as compensation volume displacement elements and occluding volume displacement elements) with respect to the elastically deformable conduit at different times to cause flow of fluid in the elastically deformable conduit downstream to a recipient. The controller controls movement of the multiple volume displacement elements to volumetrically balance: i) an input flow rate of input fluid conveyed from a fluid source downstream to an input of the elastically deformable conduit, and ii) an output flow rate of output fluid delivered from an output of the elastically deformable conduit downstream to a recipient.
