A peristaltic pump includes a housing in which a tube mounting case is formed in which a pump head is rotatably supported. The pump includes a tube unit provided as a replacement part consisting of a flexible tube and a tube fixture which holds the tube at two positions. The tube unit is insertible in the tube mounting case so that by displacing the tube fixture, the tube enters into tensioning engagement with the pump head. A tensioning device is arranged on the housing or on the tube mounting case in the form of a lever mechanism for tensioning displacement of the tube fixture by at least one lever element. A locking or clamping mechanism forms an undercut which upon reaching a tube tensioning position engages in a counter-locking/clamping mechanism arranged on the tube fixture for locking the tube fixture and the tensioning device in the tube tensioning position.

To provide a tube pump which includes: a drive mechanism including a first roller unit and a second roller unit which rotate about an axis line while being in contact with a tube having elasticity, and a first drive unit and a second drive unit which cause the first roller unit and the second roller unit to rotate independently about the axis line; a holding mechanism which holds the tube in an arcuate shape about the axis line; and an attachment mechanism which detachably attaches the holding mechanism to the drive mechanism.

In one embodiment, a feed pump of a tube pump type is used for supplying a processing liquid. The tube pump has a squeezing member that moves from a first axial position of a tube at which the squeezing member starts pinching of the tube, to a second axial position at which the squeezing member leaves the tube after feeding the processing liquid toward an ejecting part such as a nozzle. Only one pinched part pinched between the squeezing member and a guide member is formed between the first axial position and the second axial position of the tube, and the only one pinched part moves along the axial direction of the tube, during feeding of a dose of the processing liquid toward the ejecting part.

An exemplary refill unit for a foam dispenser includes a container for holding a foamable liquid and a liquid pump connected to the container and an outlet nozzle. The liquid pump has a rigid back plate and a flexible membrane. The flexible membrane and the rigid back plate form an arcuate shaped liquid pump chamber. The rigid back plate has a liquid inlet located proximate a first end of the arcuate shaped pump chamber and a liquid outlet located proximate a second end of the arcuate shaped pump chamber. The liquid pump is actuated by progressive compression of the flexible membrane against the back plate.

A hand-held pump apparatus has a peristaltic pump head and a container for a liquid to be dispensed. The pump head has a rotatable peristaltic pump member and a flexible dispensing tube in fluid connection with the inside of the container. A finger-actuated trigger is arranged to drive the peristaltic pump member when actuated so as to cause the peristaltic pump member to turn and pump fluid through the dispensing tube. The pump head has a thumb hole disposed through it, the thumb hole being disposed within an area around which the peristaltic pump member turns when actuated.

A pump system including a pump, an inflow cassette and an outflow cassette. The inflow cassette has a damping flexible membrane covering a damping region configured to dampen pressure pulsations in washing fluid passing through the damping region. The pump has a plurality of individually actionable pressing members that can each be individually actuated to pinch one of a plurality of suction tubes of the outflow cassette to at least partially prevent fluid flow through the one of the plurality of the suction tubes.

A tube pump includes a tube, a housing member having a cylindrical chamber including an inner peripheral surface, a rotator having a first shaft and a first portion, the first portion having a guide, and a roller having a first shank received by the guide. The tube pump includes a contact member having a contact portion in the cylindrical chamber extending outwardly towards the inner peripheral surface at least the first distance and less than the second distance, the contact portion being configured to selectively contact the roller.

A waste ink recovery device (1) which is a fluid transport device has a tubing pump (40) configured to rotate around a shaft center by a motor, thereby transporting waste ink into a recovery container, flow passage members (30) for guiding the waste ink into the tubing pump (40), a flow passage selector (50), and a one-way clutch (70). The flow passage selector (50) has operating members (53) for opening and closing internal flow passages of the flow passage members (30), and an eccentric cam (54) configured to make the operating members (53) open and close the internal flow passages of the flow passage members (30).

A tube pump includes a tube, a housing member having a cylindrical chamber including an inner peripheral surface, a rotator having a first shaft and a first portion, the first portion having a guide, and a roller having a first shank received by the guide. The tube pump includes a contact member having a contact portion in the cylindrical chamber extending outwardly towards the inner peripheral surface at least the first distance and less than the second distance, the contact portion being configured to selectively contact the roller.

A device for providing a liquid additive includes at least one first pump chamber (3) for conveying the liquid additive, and a rotary drive. The first pump chamber is arranged around a drive axis of the rotary drive. Inside the first pump chamber, at least one seal is formed, which can be displaced from the rotary drive around the drive axis. The device has at least one second pump chamber, which is arranged along the drive axis adjacent to the first pump chamber.
