An information processing system includes a terminal apparatus that sends the received machine-type identification information and state history information received from the monitoring target apparatus by near field communication, an information processing apparatus that receives the machine-type identification information and the state history information from the terminal apparatus, and a storage apparatus that accumulates machine-type identification information identifying a machine type of a monitoring target apparatus and normal-state history information in an associated manner. When the information processing apparatus receives the machine-type identification information and state history information about a certain monitoring target apparatus from the terminal apparatus, the information processing apparatus compares the normal-state history information accumulated in the storage apparatus in association with the machine-type identification information and the received state history information, judges whether an operation state of the monitoring target apparatus is normal, and sends a judgment result to the terminal apparatus.

Air conditioning apparatus

Provided is an air conditioning apparatus that is capable of suppressing increases in volume and cost of the apparatus and performing more suitable overheating protection. An electric compressor is an inverter-integrated electric compressor integrally including a compressor, an electric motor that drives the compressor, and an inverter including a temperature sensor that detects the temperature in the vicinity of a semiconductor switching device, wherein a controller estimates a discharge temperature of the compressor on the basis of a correlation of respective pressure loading characteristics for the detected temperature of the inverter, for the rotational speed of the compressor, and for the motive force of the compressor in a refrigerating cycle.

Intake-air cooling device

An intake-air cooling device is disposed on a rear-stage side of a pre-filter disposed on an intake-air inlet side of an intake-air duct for guiding intake air taken in from an intake-air inlet to a compressor, for cooling the intake air by spraying water to the intake air. The intake-air cooling device includes a plurality of nozzles configured to spray the water to the intake air, a plurality of water conduit pipes including the plurality of nozzles arranged in an axial direction of the plurality of water conduit pipes, and a plurality of supply pumps configured to supply the water to a corresponding one of the plurality of water conduit pipes. Each of the plurality of water conduit pipes is an endless member which has a different perimeter.

POWER CONVERSION DEVICE

A power converter including a compressor as a load includes a compensation current output (80) allowing compensation current (Ic), which compensates for leakage current (Ia), to flow. A controller (50) receives a detection signal from a rotational speed sensor (55) which senses the rotational speed of the compressor (CM). When the rotational speed has increased to a set rotational speed at which the leakage current (Ia) is lower than or equal to its limiting value (Lmax) (e.g., the limiting value specified under the Electrical Appliances and Materials Safety Act or by the IEC) in a state where the compensation current output (80) is off, the compensation current output (80) is switched from an on state to an off state. This may reduce the leakage current from the compressor with low power loss.

Flow control

A pumping system for at least one aquatic application comprises a motor coupled to a pump and a controller in communication with the motor. The controller may be adapted to determine a first motor speed, determine a present flow rate using curves of speed versus flow rate for discrete power consumptions, generate a difference value between the present flow rate and a reference flow rate, and/or drive the motor at a second motor speed based on the difference value until reaching a steady state condition.

APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING COMPRESSOR

An apparatus and a method may control a compressor. The apparatus may control a motor (included in a compressor) such that the motor quickly repeats turn-on and turn-off operations in a cooling power supply time period/section, thereby enabling the compressor to compress refrigerant in the cooling power supply time period/section. Thus, cooling power of a refrigerator may change while the compressor operates with maximum efficiency.

A system for determining health of a component is provided. The system includes an operational parameter module associated with the component and in communication with a controller. The controller is configured to receive an operating parameter signal from the operational parameter module. The controller is configured to monitor a change of the operating parameter over a predetermined time period. The controller is configured to compare the monitored operating parameter with a first predetermined threshold. The controller is configured to determine a rate of change of the monitored operating parameter over the predetermined time period. The controller is also configured to compare the determined rate of change with a second predetermined threshold. The controller is further configured to determine the health of the component based, at least in part, on the comparisons with the first and second predetermined thresholds respectively and one or more additional parameters associated with the component.

The present disclosure describes a control method for a compressor system that comprises a compressor connected to a pressure vessel and a frequency converter controlling an electric motor of the compressor. In the method, the present operating state is estimated on the basis of a monitored/estimated electrical quantity of the compressor system. The operating state may represent the pressure in the pressure vessel. The pressure in the pressure vessel causes a counter-torque to the motor. The counter-torque is proportional to the pressure and may be used for estimating the pressure inside the pressure vessel. An estimate of a counter-torque may be calculated on the basis of the monitored electrical quantity or quantities.

Intake profile for optimized utilization of motor characteristics

Systems and methods for operating a stepper motor of a pump at a desired low velocity include memory for storing information corresponding to an intake velocity profile. The intake velocity profile represents an optimized acceleration curve for operating the stepper motor over a range of motor velocities during an intake cycle. A processor of a system controller dynamically accesses the memory during the intake cycle to acquire the information representing the intake velocity profile and issues a series of pulses to the stepper motor based on this information. In response to the pulses, the stepper motor accelerates in accordance with the optimized acceleration curve represented by the intake velocity profile. The optimized acceleration curve is based on the available torque of the stepper motor across a range of motor velocities and enables the motor to operate with greater torque utilization and less margin than traditional linear acceleration profiles.

An engine (12) drives a variable capacity-type hydraulic pump (16), discharged hydraulic oil is selectively supplied to a cooling fan (19) and a hoist cylinder (11) in accordance with switching of a selection valve (17), thereby controlling the same on the basis of each target value. A pump discharge pressure (Pp) of the hydraulic oil discharged from the hydraulic pump (16) and a motor supply pressure (Pm) of the hydraulic oil supplied to a hydraulic motor (18) via the selection valve (17) are detected by sensors (27, 28) and are compared with pressure determination values stored in advance as a pump discharge pressure (Pp) and an actuator supply pressure (Pm) generated when the target value is achieved. Presence/absence of abnormality in the hydraulic actuator control device (15) is determined on the basis of a result of the comparison, and when abnormality is determined to have occurred, control is performed to minimize the capacity of the hydraulic pump (16).
