Fluid supply device
A fuel supply device according to the present invention comprises a first fuel pump for forcing fuel from a fuel tank to a fuel passage, a first electric motor for driving the first fuel pump, a second fuel pump for forcing fuel from the fuel tank to the fuel passage, a second electric motor for driving the second fuel pump, a supply flow rate sensor for detecting flow rate in the supply passage, and a control device for controlling the flow rate in the supply passage to follow a desired value thereof, by regulating rotational speeds of the first and second electric motors depending on a difference between the desired value and a detected value of flow rate in the supply passage.
PORTABLE AIR CLEANING APPARATUS
A portable air cleaning apparatus includes a housing, an actuating and sensing device and an air cleaning unit. The housing includes an inlet through hole and an outlet through hole. The actuating and sensing module and the air cleaning unit are disposed inside the housing. The actuating and sensing module includes an actuating device and a sensor. The actuating device drives an external air to flow into an interior of the housing via the inlet through hole and discharge the air via the outlet through hole, so as to form an internal air flow. The sensor detects the internal air flow to generate an air-sensing result, such that the actuating and sensing module can accordingly control the air cleaning unit to turn on, turn off, or adjust cleaning intensity. Thus, the portable air cleaning apparatus can monitor and automatically clean the ambient air at the same time.
Linear programming-based approach to scheduling of crude oil operations in refinery for energy efficiency optimization
For sustainable development, a refinery is required to save energy as much as possible so as to reduce the emission of greenhouse gas. In crude oil operations, oil transportation from storage tanks to charging tanks via a pipeline consumes a large portion of energy. It is vitally important to minimize energy consumption for this process. Since the oil flow resistance is proportional to the square of oil flow rate, the relation between energy efficiency and flow rate is nonlinear, which makes the problem complicated. The present invention addresses this important issue by formulating a linear programming model for the considered problem such that it can be efficiently solved. A real-world industrial case study is used to demonstrate the applications and significance of the proposed method.
Demand based hydraulic pump control system
Systems and methods are provided for a demand-based hydraulic system. A clutch is positioned between a hydraulic pump and an engine. The clutch is selectively engaged to power the hydraulic pump based on a level of demand for hydraulic power. A control system is also provided to control the clutch and/or the pump in accordance with a plurality of operating mode.

Operation control system of working vehicle
An operation control system includes a control device having a hydraulic pump control unit that controls a hydraulic pump based on a level that an operator selects from levels in n stages (n being an integer of 2 or more). The hydraulic pump control unit has operation distance/current value corresponding data where an operation distance of an operating lever and a current value are made to correspond to each other in a corresponding manner with each level in the levels in n stages. A current value that corresponds to an operation distance of the operating lever at a present point of time is acquired from the operation distance/current value corresponding data that corresponds to the level that the operator selects, and controls the discharge amount of a pressurized oil that the hydraulic pump discharges based on the acquired current value.
